Carbon82 Moderator February 8, 2018 Share February 8, 2018 (edited) This thread is created to heighten the awareness toward road safety, from the perspective of all road users, including motorist, their passenger, as well as PMD user and pedestrian on the street. As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, so I have included video / photos / articles in the post, so as to have more visual impact. All are welcome to share your thought and safety tips. Disclaimer: In some scenarios shown here, there is no clear cut who is right, or who is in the wrong, so please refrain from passing nasty remarks or unnecessary name calling. Thank you for your understanding and look forward to your fullest cooperation. Carbon82 Moderator February 13, 2018 Author Share February 13, 2018 (edited) I guess there might be technical glitch or restriction imposed by Facebook to prevent linking of multiple videos, thus the first post I made couple of days did not turn out as intended. I shall break down the posting by topic. Many a time, I have seen adults (parents, grandparents, domestic helps, etc.) NOT holding the young children tight by their side, or keeping a close watch on them, when at traffic junction, or crossing a road. This is a very irresponsible act to me, as not only they are putting the child at risk, in the event the child run loose, it might resulted in traffic accident when motorist jam their brake or sway to avoid the child. I hereby urge all of you (and please remind your family member too), HOLD TIGHT and WATCH your young children when crossing the road! https://www.facebook.com/Roads.sg/videos/1691559867543076/ https://www.facebook.com/Roads.sg/videos/1711858368846559/ Aside to MCF's moderator and admin team, especially @kobayashigt, @babyblade & @ragingbull, thanks for your assistance to look into the issue immediately upon my feedback.
