i stop  chap chye peng some years back.

cos every time eat confirm put alot of sauce or curry.

very bad for cholesterol  [:|]

If you dont eat chap chye peng, then the option would be lesser a lot le? Anyway, you can ask them not to put sauce or curry de. I find the chap chye peng opposite tiong baru market corner coffeeshop not bad.

there used to be a mixed rice stall at anchorvale at the NTUC foodfare coffeeshop. Not say very ho jiak, but it does have more of a home cooked taste.

Not sure if still there, used to eat there when i worked nearby.

Been enjoying the food from Heng Long Teohew Porridge for a while. Usually order individual portion with rice instead of porridge (much cheaper than ordering for sharing), and the dishes are consistently tasty.

I have been a chap chye png fan since I starting eating lunch outside, from sec school onwards.

It was and still is the most affordable food that will fill my stomach...

If eat noddles, i eat two bowls then enough, i think.

Everywhere i go for lunch, as long as got this mixed rice, i sure can survive one...  [laugh]

This stall is hainanese curry rice , not chap chye png .

Normally , curry rice is more expensive than chap chye png .

the bak kut teh shop , is on the next street , further down one street from TB market .
