Really admire his guts and gusto in saying how he feels. 要拼才会赢

In my very honest opinion, it's easy to be critical and scholarly like journalists, commentators or authors.

Getting things done is another thing altogether.

RIP to the armchair critic.

Armchair critic is used to describe older gen folks. New gen critics are called keyboard warriors.

talk a good game vs play a good game lor.

It's always easy to criticise govt and the corporation. Why u never do this, why u never do that.

Actually how many of these cyber or armchair critics are really open minded enough to accept it when other side gives u a credible argument?

We are all biased mah. U will never like someone who disagrees with you. Not without much training and even then, probably, u have to put aside your personal sentiment.

That guy arm chair critic. Don't effect much changes. <ignorant comment by me>

He was a political activist during KMT's martial law era, he was jailed for a good number of years before the younger generation of DPP came to take credit for the democratisation of Taiwan. Later he was a Nobel-nominated author then an elected legislator. The TV commentary came only in his older years, I think as a source of income.

I see, admittedly I am clueless on his life, except being a critic. My previous comment above would be very ignorant. Quite a achievement he has. Edited by Ender
