Nice tips! We tried iHomework already and it's rather convenient. But I can't say it's the best app for school students. Recently I and my kid are using Classdojo app. It's really helpful, here is the description. It allows managing the communication between teachers, parents, and kids. All schools statistics and tasks are there. Very convenient stuff for controlling my kid's school process.
