Trump had openly expressed the DMZ is a very possible location, due to historical reference. At least, what starts there will end there. However, it is not surprising even if Trump eventually settles on Singapore. Trump, afterall, did accept an invitation from our dear PM Lee to visit Singapore in 2018. So these can be combined into one trip, which makes logistic sense. Noting that, Trump is the only US President who did not initiate to visit Singapore - US's closest partner in Asia - within the first 12 months. This is unlike most previous new US Presidents, whom visited all allies and partners within the first year of inauguration. I wouldn't say Singapore is a neutral ground. I would think of our land as a strategic ground, given that Singapore did revoke all North Korean work permits just a few months ago. This may be another topic between Singapore and North Korea.
