Are there any blue cars on the road?

Are there any blue coloured cars on the road? Seems like a weird question but hang on.

I was looking at cars when I realised there are no blue coloured cars available. There are metallic blue, sporty blue, nocturna but no plain blue colour.

Same for other colours.

Wonder why is that so. Sales tactic? Metallic sporty blue sounds more atas than blue? Or protect intellectual property rights (seems Honda colour codes cannot be found in hyundai colour codes)?

So anyone ever seen a blue coloured car on the road with the colour description as "blue" with nothing else?

you want color description as "blue" only? Go look at the log cards lah, whatever you call it, if it is related to blue, it will be stated as just "blue".

For the matter, is there a plain white, plain black,  plain grey or plain red car in any of the offers here?  so why only mention blue?

And what is your definition of just "blue"?  like pure blue? navy blue? sky blue? royal blue?  [laugh]  [laugh]  [laugh]

I remember I wanted to spray paint my old car to white and they showed me all the shades of white. To me, white is white....[idea][dizzy]

No blues la. I could have also put have you seen a white car on the road?....

How does blue relate to friend with benefit @Davidtch? Unless blue blue is short for @babyblade? [idea] joke joke.

Pick your blues

TS, what colour is your house painted? Just "white"? Or is it something fancy like (Dulux) Soft sand white?

Does that answer your question? (The implicit answer being that fancy branding is everything nowadays).

It's not limited to colours either. I had PB&J for breakfast (not BJ hor, tikos!).

Not strawberry jam. Oh no. St. Dalfour's "Rhapsodie de Fruit" Strawberry "Hi Fruit Content Spread". I'm not even sure whether there's a legal or trade-related reason why they can't just call it jam (jam is supposed to have lower fruit content than this does), but I hope you see my point.

Do you take "milk"? Or is it "pasteurised low fat, calcium enriched dairy cow's milk"?

Do you take "cereal"? Or is it "multivitamin fortified, honey sweetened corn flakes"?

On the other hand, I find it upsetting that things that are not blue are called blue.

Why are blue films called that?

They're not blue.

I know because, as a kid, I forced myself to watch many of them just to convince myself that they weren't actually blue.

@jamesc will understand.

:D
