The details of the June 2019 2nd open bidding exercise for Certificates of Entitlement (COEs) are as follows:

Tender opens: Monday, 17 June 2019, 12 noon
Tender closes: Wednesday, 19 June 2019, 4.00 pm
Tender results: Wednesday, 19 June 2019 (Available on the www.onemotoring.com.sg website)

The total quota available for this tender is 4,248 for the following vehicle categories:

NON-TRANSFERABLE CATEGORIES:
Category A: Cars (up to 1600cc & 97kW (130bhp)) => 1,424
Category B: Cars (above 1600cc or 97kW (130bhp)) => 1,141
Category D: Motorcycles => 909

TRANSFERABLE CATEGORIES:
Category C: Goods Vehicles and Buses => 393
Category E: Open Category => 381

Then I shall start the guessing game. Cat A 29k, Cat B 37k (but Cat B the lower the better [sly] )

If COE Cat B drops below my rebate level then I can get back the difference.

 

curious why the lower the better since you alrdy commit.

Yup, driving a 2016 Elantra now. Faster change to bigger car since COE is lower now, if not next time cannot afford to change already.

Bought at 103k, sold at 59k. Took back 17k.

You sold to agent where you bought your car? Still can take back 17k? Really seems like a good deal to change your 3 year old car?!

Yup, sold to Skoda’s dealer. I paid 45k DP when I bought it in 2016. At least can take back some $$ to pay the new DP.
