Can someone explain what is the Parf Value of 50% & 55%? hmm, starting from which year or where can i find out? tks!

The new reduced PARF is in place from May 2002. There was no 55% figure in the old scheme. The lowest was 80%. In the new scheme, 55% is for cars above 8 and below 9 years old. 50% is for above 9 and 10.

Parking: $300 Conservative estimate also since only the car parks in the cities need to pay, everywhere else is almost all free.

Total $7,875/year or about $655 per month.

 

Just about only the petrol is more expensive than Sunny Singapore.

 

I used to live in Dubai from 2000 till 2008. Had Alfa's, Mercs, Volvo and Beemers. The 540i was the last car purchased before moving.

 

2007 BMW 540i (bought 2nd hand with 12k on the odo) for ~ S$ 54,000/-

Road Tax: $105

Insurance: $875

Petrol: $1,350 (~25k kms a year, calculated at .65c a litre for 98octane)

Home carpark: free

Service: Free (car came with 5 year service and warranty. It was only a year old when bought)

Speeding tickets: ~ $1,000 a year (and believe me... I was one of the slower drivers among my friends)

 

Thats what... about $3300 for 1 year. Cars are damn cheap there. And with all the speeding and accidents... so is life. But the above cost isn't relevant. I should work out how much my Mazda6 cost me here for the 2 years I had it.

Just want to find out... which brand do you think suits someone my age most? I'm male and looking for a car between 150 - 250k. I'm torn between a Merc, a BMW and an Audi..... Any recommendations? Generally, what do you guys think of people who drive these brands?

1.Lets say im taking full loan for a $30000 06 lancer. Do i need gurantor or pay slip for loan ?

 

2.The info on sgcarmart on the bottom of the page .( Transfer fee $11 1st installment $800 ) Can the installment part be trusted ?
