"I needed new rubber so thought long and hard about where i drive and what to put on. The tread pattern i'm sure can make a difference. So i bit the bullet and opted for GERUTTI DS810 225 40 18 92W XL. Manufacturers website here. Did a bit of research and found a few reports of being a bad tyre but then thought perhaps so has every other tyre and people dont tend to post good reports, so lets change that.
They've now been on for 2 weeks and covered about 3000 miles. I was very nervous to begin with as not sure but now feel very comfortable now they are worn in. They are rated C & C with 76db and rated W(168mph). Certainly no louder than my Bridgedstones and hold the road well. If they only last 4 months, I feel I'd have had my moneys worth. Very tempted to buy 4 more and stick them in the garage.
I guess the thing people miss, is the fact they have to be manufactured to a certain British Standard or they are not allowed to sell them or even import them."
