Following the release of the facelifted E-Class saloon, Mercedes has unveiled the E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet facelift ahead of their world premiere at the upcoming Detroit Motor Show.

The front fascia of both models is slightly different from the saloon version. They get a pair of more aerodynamic head lights with different LED pattern. In addition, the grille gets a single bar instead of two bars in the saloon. Finally, the bumper design is more aggressive and has a larger air intake.

The engine lineup is borrowed from the saloon and they come standard with the ECO auto start/stop system. The 2014 E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet will be powered by range of gasoline engines from 181bhp (E200) to 402bhp (E500). On the diesel side, the E200 CDI gets a 2.1-litre turbodiesel with 134bhp followed by the E220 CDI with 168bhp. The E250 CDI has the same engine but tuned for 201bhp. Gearbox options include a 6-speed manual and the 7G-TRONIC PLUS auto transmission.
