Pizza's here usually gets delivered with Class 2b motorcycles though I have heard a well to-do individual uses his Mercedes.
Order a hot pizza from Domino's in the town of Swindon, U.K. and you will be greeted by a delivery man in a Renault Twizy. Besides the standard Domino’s livery, the Renault Twizy also ensures the pizza's arrive hot and swift.
The good people at Domino’s provide deliveries until 5am all over the large town and the surrounding areas. As such the Twizy, which is an EV, is the perfect choice as its really quiet - making it ideal for nipping around residential areas without waking up the neighbours on top of being highly economical.
Given the small size, it’s also relatively easy to park and commute courtesy of dimensions of less than two and a half metres in length and one and a half metres in width. Did I mention it has a Lamborghini-like scissor doors as well?
The head-turning Renault also aids Domino’s to reduce carbon emissions, because the Twiy emits none and to add on there’s no road tax or fuel bills for Domino’s to worry about. The batteries of the Twizy is charged using a standard 13 amp socket for an official range of up to 60 miles.
Twizy is the first mass market EV compact coupe, blending head-turning design with sheer driving fun. Perhaps Singpost could replace the traditional bicycles with one of these?
