blogentry-133713-0-43326500-1418882213_thumb.jpgHennessey Performance has worked its magic on Ford's all new F-150 truck as an alternative to the soon-to-come F-150 SVT Raptor that is said to debut soon.

Powering the new truck is a reworked version of Ford's 5.0-litre V8 that will be pushing out more than 600bhp. A Roots-type supercharger boosting at 0.55bar, a more efficient intake and exhaust system plus a remapped engine program allows Hennessey to extract an additional 215bhp. Considering the new F-150 is around 300kg lighter than its predecessor, you can bet this is going to one really fast truck.

They can also opt to thrown in additional extras like custom off-road coilover suspension, tougher bumpers all round, front winch, LED light bars and bigger Brembo brakes.

With only 500 units of the VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged available, those lucky ones who live in the states should consider getting this bad boy soon. And for those who bought 2.7-litre and 3.5-litre Ecoboost variant, fret not. Hennessey is said to be working on them too.

  • Carpark Review: Junction 8

Built in the 1980s, Bishan (or Bishan New Town) may not be one of the earliest housing estates in Singapore, but it was the first whose HDB architecture saw a departure from the more brutalist designs of the past and featured more variation in height and design.  Residents are primarily served by Junction 8, which opened in 1993. Now more than 30 years old, it remains the sole mall in the Bishan East area. Driving there? Here’s our quick review of the carpark.  Manoeuvrability: T
