Christopher Nolan's Bruce Wayne spent a bunch of screen time figuring out how being a billionaire industralist defense contractor could make him a more efficient Batman, and his gear went high-tech defense industrialist, too, exemplified perfectly by theTumbler.

 

Zack Snyder's Batman, on the other hand, goes in a sleeker but just-as-industrial direction. We've seen a few brooding images, seen it's funky rear-hinged doors, and seen it running on set in Detroit. Now somebody has managed to get some B-roll and throw it up on YouTube. We don't envy Batman's visibility from inside, but we're digging it a lot more than his padded rubber suit. Even so, we'll be there to watch the whole thing goes down on the big screen next year.

  • Is 'tiny living' really irrelevant in Singapore?

    I discussed the possibility of living in tiny houses in Singapore in an earlier blog post. But as we know, it isn't an option to begin with – no thanks, of course, to our lack of land space.  Someone also pointed out that the idea of tiny houses is "romanticised" – which, I don't deny (but hey, that's why it's a dream).
