You can now buy a replica Evoque grill for your Land Wind X7

By Faiming_low on 10 Aug 2015 in Other News

Attached Image For those of you who read our blog posts regularly, you might remember a post about the China-made Land Wind X7, which is basically a clone of the real Range Rover Evoque.

Attached Image According to CarNewsChina, you can now purchase replica grille for your Land Wind X7, so that your car can look even more similar to the real Evoque. You can even get replica badges too!

Attached Image While it can look pretty similar to most people, true car geeks can still spot the X7 easily with the grill and the badge. But I guess for the rest of the folks, this 'upgrade' would be good enough.

Now, to save buyers the hassle, Land Wind dealers should made this the new grille, lettering and badge an option!

Since young, Fai Ming has always centered his life around cars. In fact his first word was 'car' and not 'mum' or 'dad'. Aren't kids cute?

In case you are wondering what engine it is running on. It's a Mitsubishi Evo 4G63 series engine pumping out 190hp and 250Nm torque.

It will be interesting if someone to do a review on it and compare it to the real deal.

Evo engine, but without the turbo (because the Evo makes close to 300hp with the turbo)? That would be a low compression underpowered engine wouldn't it?

While you can dress up like a fake Land Rover to bluff other people, but you simply cannot bluff your own self that you are not driving a Land Rover. It is just like the old harrier being dressed up like a fake lexus. Why deceive yourself?
