Nissan creates intelligent chair that parks itself
Called the “Intelligent Parking Chair”, the brains at Nissan have created a normal-looking office chair that can move and park itself. With the help of some electric motors and wheels hidden under a special circular base, these chairs can keep themselves away via a simple clap of the hands.
Four cameras placed around the room give the chairs a virtual map of the space around them and no matter where they are placed, the chairs can navigate themselves back to where they belong.
While these chairs aren't likely to make it into production anytime soon, it does look pretty impressive and is a brilliant way to showcase Nissan's autonomous know-how.
