Ford Focus RS to enter FIA World Rallycross
Ford will be providing two factory supported 2016 Focus RS race cars in this year's FIA World Rallycross Championship and they will be under Ken Block's Hoonigan Racing Division team. The Focus RS Rallycross will have all-wheel drive and a new 600bhp EcoBoost engine that also boasts 900Nm of torque. These numbers mean that the car will do the century sprint in an amazing time of less than two seconds.
Of course, other than the immense power, it also gets additional enhancements like an FIA-spec roll cage, special underbody protection, a six-speed sequential gearbox, four-pot Brembo calipers and special AVON racing tyres.
Expect to see the new Focus RS Rallycross in the Portugal leg of the FIA World Rallycross in mid April.
