Which is the fastest FWD manual hot hatch?

By Faiming_low on 13 Oct 2016 in New model

Attached Image With Seat making a comeback on our sunny island very soon, hot hatch enthusiast now have another choice to ponder on when it is time to get a new car. Available in DSG guise (or if you are lucky, a manual gearbox), Seat's good-looking five-door Leon Cupra is a good alternative to the usual suspects, namely the Honda Civic Type R and the Volkswagen Golf GTi Clubsport.

For those who are wondering which one is the fastest in a straight line, Carwow, a british publication takes the aforementioned hot hatches to a runway and give us an answer. With all three within 20bhp of each other, it should be a close fight!
