Honda announces Civic Type R engine price in America

Codenamed K20C1, the direct injection engine can be found in the latest Civic Type R and has been praised by media around the world for being a strong engine. It produces 306bhp and 399Nm of torque and will cost $6,500 (S$8,900) excluding shipping fees for the buyers in the States.

 

It is available via the Honda Racing Line program and according to Honda, the engine is ideal for grassroots and professional racers seeking a powerful engine for closed-course racing applications.
