China businessman pays downpayment in coins

By Faiming_low on 30 Dec 2017 in Other News

Attached Image An unnamed Chinese businessman has paid for his brand new BMW's downpayment with coins. Workers had to count the coins for hours.

According to The Daily Mail, this businessman came to the BMW dealership with nearly S$15k worth of 5 cents coins to pay for his BMW. He claimed to have saved up for a number of years and was keen to use it all up.

While it is pretty amusing, we are sure the dealership employees weren't pleased.

Thankfully, the remaining balance of around S$67k was paid in a more conventional way.

Since young, Fai Ming has always centered his life around cars. In fact his first word was 'car' and not 'mum' or 'dad'. Aren't kids cute?
