Why do we drive on the left side of the road unlike other countries?

Attached Image Ever wondered why we have right-hand drive cars and drive on the left side of the road? Wouldn't it be easier and safer if we all drive on the same side of the road?

According to Donut Media the problem goes way back in time, long before the car was even invented, as explained in the video.


But instead of us explaining in words, why not go and have a look at the clip instead?
