Just as the Tokyo Auto Salon is nearing, Daihatsu has realised the Copen Coupe for Tokyo Auto Salon 2019.

While we don't really see the point of this exercise, Daihatsu has heard what its customers wants and has given them a Copen with a fixed roof.

Attached Image Inspired by a concept shown in 2016's Tokyo Auto Salon, there will only be 200 units of this Coupe. It feature a CFRP fixed top that can also be opted with a glass sunroof and is shaped in a fastback-ish design.

Attached Image For those who bought one, they can expect their cars to reach them in April which will coincide with the fifth anniversary of the current generation Copen.

Attached Image Being a special edition, it is loaded with quite a few niceties including a Momo leather-wrapped steering wheel, a Limited Slip Differential for added traction out of corners and BBS forged aluminum wheels.

Attached Image Elsewhere, the front-wheel driven coupe is powered by a turbocharged 660cc engine that produces 63bhp and 92Nm of torque.
