Toyota Corolla hot hatch a possibility

With the Yaris GRMN hot hatch all sold out and the new generation Corolla hatch just launched, a Corolla hot hatch is what Toyota should build.   And it seems like there is a chance of the Japanese company building a rival for the Volkswagen Golf GTI. In an article published by Drive, the brand’s Chief Engineer, Yasushi Ueda, said that such a car could adopt a hybrid powertrain.   That said, there are several powertrain options when it comes to a potential compact hot hatch model, everythin

Audi makes a fool of themselves

Not even the sleek and clean-cut car manufacturers, Audi, can escape being laughed at. Their consistent minimalist advertising campaign took a plunge for the worst when they decided to go a little mad. And this is what happened.     To build up some hype before their launch of the new Mini-rival, the A1, Audi decided to do something rather extreme. They took the A1 and drove it up and down a specially constructed half pipe in the Parc du Cinquantenaire in Brussels to showcase the car's sup

Whatever the reason BMW is doing the opposite isn

Keep these parts maintained to avoid breakdowns!

Promptly replace these parts on your car and you find yourself stranded at the side of the road, waiting for a tow truck to save you! What's the worst thing that can happen to a driver? I would imagine that to be getting stranded at the side of road in the middle of the night, or maybe rushing to the carpark in the morning for an important meeting just to find out that your car wouldn't start. While a car is comprised of countless components, each part plays an important role for the car to

Three Hybrids, a Proton, a Ferrari and a Porsche at the Geneva Motor Show

- the Porsche 918 Spyder Concept. A 718ps all wheel drive hybrid supercar.   Recently we have read or heard that Proton has come up with a hybrid/electric/something green prototype of a car that basically resembles a box on wheels. The designed by Italdesign-Giugiaro is supposedly an achievement in how a car should be packaged. It looks like either an elongated SMART Fortwo or a shortened Mercedes A-class. So the actual innovative thing is that the Proton concept EMAS is that its a environment

Driving's biggest distractions

Imagine a doctor watching television while doing surgery or a student studying at Starbucks paying more attention to his coffee and the girls surrounding him rather than his textbooks. Distractions can cost lives (or grades), but when it comes to driving, its a whole lot more serious.   There are many people out there on the roads texting while driving, talking on the phone, playing with their Ipods and most of them get away with it. None of them crashed into a side wall and died, neither did

Measuring 3.830mm long, it's 230mm longer
