Spyker has recently revealed the production-confirmed B6 Venator, which will feature on the Concept Lawn, with a Spyder (convertible) version also expected to be revealed later in the year. The Spyker B6 Venator Concept is a compact, two-door mid-engine sports car that Spyker claims will offer the discerning driver of the highest standards a new choice, delivering a rare combination of heritage, design, performance and exclusivity.

Designed by Victor R. Muller, Chief Executive Officer of Spyker N.V., the Spyker B6 Venator Concept makes a contemporary statement whilst paying homage to its past. Highly detailed design, bespoke materials and aviation-inspired elements are a core part of the Spyker DNA.

With the announcement of the Spyker B6 Venator Concept, the company once again proves its Latin axiom: Nulla tenaci invia est via (For the tenacious no road is impassable). The name 'Venator' is Latin as well, meaning 'Hunter' - a nod back to Spyker's Hunter fighter aircraft of the early 20th century.

The Spyker B6 Venator Concept will begin production in early 2014 for key markets including Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and India, followed by the U.S.A in autumn 2014.

The C8 Aileron, last seen at this year's Geneva Motor Show, will be displayed as part of the Audemars Piguet British Super Car Show, proudly demonstrating why this year's production of the model has already sold out.

Salon Prive's David Bagley said, "I'm delighted to have Spyker at Salon Prive once again and showing a stunning lineup on both the Concept Lawn and as part of the Audemars Piguet British Super Car Show. We have a brilliant show coming together this year, the biggest and best ever in fact, and we're very much looking forward to seeing it all come together over the three days in September."

The eight Salon Prive will run from Wednesday the 4th of September to Friday the 6th of September at Syon Park, London. Several new product debuts, as well as the Chubb Insurance Concours d'El

The end of CB does not stop PMDs from riding on the road

With the end of the Circuit Breaker measures, more people have resumed working, creating more traffic on our roads. But that has not stop this rider from riding recklessly on his Personal Mobility Device (PMD) in Sembawang. As reported by SG Road Vigilante, the rider can be seen overtaking a car that is moving away from the traffic lights before keeping up to speed with it. In fact, the video which was shot on the 4th of June, showed the rider overtaking a motorcycle in the next lane. Judging from the 20 seconds plus clip, we reckon he could have been doing twice the legal speed limit of PMDs (25km/h). Naturally, netizens were quick to slam him... Should we be tolerating this? Watch the video of the PMD rider here! 101385818_2673239402892083_8980883442018037830_n.mp4

Mazda CX-5 caught in flood waters!

Yes, we know SUVs are all what consumers today want. But as car enthusiasts, they are a no-no in terms of driving fun. Now, here's another example of why SUVs aren't as cool or tough as they look. As seen on SG Road Vigilante's page on 30th April, a Mazda CX-5 was spotted at Lorong Gambir going through a pool of standing water after the day's torrential rain. It all seemed fine and dandy until a photo of the car being towed away was featured. We have no idea how bad the car was damaged by the flood but judging from the photo, the bow wave created by the Mazda was pretty high and water could have gone into its intake system, causing some internal damage. We hope that is not the case and that it is just some electrical issues that caused the car to be immobilised.  We also hope the older generation Silver CX-5 that was in one of the photos survived the flood too!

BMW E34 and dashcam driver narrowly escape death with lightning-quick reflexes

A video of two drivers speeding and almost crashing to their deaths seems to be circulating on social media, Whatsapp groups and Telegram chats. Here's the link to the 14-second video.   They almost died In the video, you can see both the BMW and dashcam driver take evasive action to avoid a head-on collision with a stationary vehicle on lane 1 (rightmost lane). If they had crashed, based on how fast they were going past other cars on the road, they would have died.  Online Chatter - Pro or lucky? I'm not even sure whether to be horrified or impressed by the display of lightning quick reflexes in the video. Netizens seem to be leaning more towards impressed. Indeed. They are waiting.

Crazy accident causes Nissan Qashqai to flip and more

A Nissan qashqai was caught on video going out of control last friday in Bishan. As seen in the low-resolution video, the white SUV crashed through the fence and onto the wrong direction of Bishan Road while doing a flip and more. Thankfully, the lost of control of the car did not cost any lives. According to SG Road Vigilante, The 80-year-old driver and his 74-year-old female passenger were conscious when they were taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.   Obviously, there is going to be some negativity once the driver's age has been revealed... Thankfully there are some nice people out there that are more understanding...
