Car chases or pursuits have always been something of my favourite, whether they involve the police or not. As a matter of fact, that's one reason why I love movies like 'Transporter' (starring famous actor Jason Statham) and 'The Fast and The Furious'. With that being said, if you're like me, then the following video should be of your interest, too, somehow. I found it quite interesting, at least while waiting for the 'Fast and Furious 7' - which will also star Jason Statham - to be released in theatres in July 2014.

The video was shot by - a pretty creative Japanese guy, I would say - someone known as LUXE37 on YouTube. While car chases will normally endanger human life, this one puts no harm on anyone at all.

It's because the video was shot in a miniature retro Japanese city. Not only is the city retro, even all the automobiles involved seem retro as well. It seems like the automobiles used were those that came from the 80s, if not the 70s.

However, being shot in a miniature city doesn't necessarily mean that this video isn't interesting at all. In fact, I think it's worth watching. It's also quite humourous and features plenty of crashes, even an explosion! And, despite the fact that the automobiles were all retro, they somehow produced V8 sounds, too! You bet, the sounds are fake, of course.

One thing that caught my attention was the guy driving the blue muscle car. He must have been like a really skilled driver if he existed in real life. He seemed to know every inch of the city and where he can escape the chasing police officers through narrow alleyways, well, until the car finally exploded, of course.

LUXE37, I wonder if the ambulances actually managed to rescue that driver in the end? He was burning, you see.

The blue muscle car looks like the father of GTR...Nissan Prince. Back in the 70s. Could be wrong...but nice video.

  • Tennis: Beautiful game that doesn't know how to count

Wimbledon just concluded yesterday (congrats Sinner!), and it's a reminder of how much I enjoy tennis as a sport. I used to play it some (wasn't particularly good), and still tangentially follow it nowadays (the Roland Garros final this year between Alcaraz and Sinner is an all-time classic).  There's something intrinsically mesmerising about the sport, I think even for spectators who have never picked up a racquet. At first glance, it may seem like just two people (or four, but doubles is

I have a new favourite game - Dave the Diver!

Nowadays I think many people have a Nintendo Switch, considering how it is often given away as a free gift when you sign up for credit cards, etc. Instead of just playing Mario Kart, Overcooked and Pokemon, I have another game to introduce to you all! The game is Dave the Diver. This game has completely captivated me with its delightful blend of adventure and relaxation. From the moment I dove into its vibrant underwater world, I was hooked. The gameplay mechanics strike that perfect b

Cordless vacuum cleaners: A young adult's best friend?

Every young adult probably arrives at the same point when they’ve started working for a few years: Household chores start to become more enjoyable. Don’t get me wrong – they don’t have to be one’s favourite activity on earth. But chores start to make sense: An environment that’s put-together is always a welcome haven, whether it’s returning home after a long day out, or simply staying in over the weekend (or when you’re working from home.) As a young adult myself, I've come to appreciate an

Singapore weather: Rainy or sunny, what’s healthier for you?

Singapore can be that predictably unpredictable equatorial city, where the skies shift from radiant sunshine to torrential downpour in mere moments. Given how things have been the past few weeks, I’ve subconsciously found myself pondering the impact of this mercurial weather on our health. What does the internet say: Is it the sun-drenched days that truly invigorate us, or do the rhythmic rains offer a more profound rejuvenation? In a city where the climate dances between these two ext
