http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EdSz_W92owSynthetic lubricant manufacturer, Royal Purple, is highlighting award-winning Hollywood stuntman Lance Gilbert’s achievements in its 2013 Outperformer mini-documentary series. Gilbert is a third-generation stunt man with a family lineage going all the way back to Mickey Gilbert in Ben Hur. The antic chariot racing scenes in that 1959 film can be considered one of the precursors to the work Lance is doing on NfS, like the getting a Koenigsegg (replica) to flip out and explode on a bridge during a chase.

It was a stunt that the director had planned to do with CGI until Lance convinced him that it could be done with real cars. You can see how it was done in the video – we think it's pretty cool.

“Lance epitomizes the idea of what an Outperformer is,” said Royal Purple Marketing Director Randy Fisher. “He constantly pushes the limits to create some of the most amazing action scenes ever recorded. His meticulous planning and attention to detail ensure the safety of performers, while making ‘the impossible’ possible on-screen.”

This seems interesting, a look alike F&F. Same same but different. The behind the scenes of these stunts looks good.

Hope this will turn out to be another good action packed movie.

So its basically a car being launched from the sides?? Expected really something cool, but meh..

This film is from the same director as Act Of Valor!!

Finally another reason to watch this when its out - with F&F delayed looks like there isnt much competition after all!!

PHV drivers brought the heat up on pre-cooling off day

As everyone should know, today, 9th of July 2020 is the cooling off day for GE2020 and it so happened that the weather is pretty cool after the morning downpour.  That said, things were not so cool for these two Private Hire drivers yesterday.  As seen on Sg Road Vigilante, a video of two PHV drivers turning the heat up (for the wrong reasons) has been spotted.  No one knows what they they were fighting for but we can almost safely assume it is due to one of them not giving way to the other or something similar like that at this NEX taxi stand in Serangoon. It then seemed like a causally-dressed (weird) taxi driver tried to stop them. Kudos for him. What really amused us was the replies in the comments section. Check them out!

We do not encourage this, but here's how you can ride 'like a boss'

As the demand for food deliveries increase due to our current circuit breaker situation, it is only natural to see an increase in the amount of bikes fulfilling the food delivery demand.  Check out how this motorcyclist takes in a hard day's of work by riding in a relaxed manner on the road. Spotted by someone on the SLE on the 4th of May, this grabfood rider can be seen in the video with his legs crossed while using his mobile phone simultaneously. This is definitely not the safest way to ride but we doubt he is breaking any laws from doing so. That said, some of the comments by neitzens on SG Road Vigilante's page didn't agree and weren't so kind... What do you guys think? Tribecar Toyota Wish speeds on wet road and crashes, pay come, pay gone

Happy Labour Day, Singapore! Some of us are thinking of how to utilise our pay that just came in. Then, there are jokers like this Toyota Wish driver who blows it all in an instant (and more). Speeding on PIE A dashcam video of the said driver has gone viral and here are some takeaways after watching the video. No one drives a Wish to speed. It's a family MPV for goodness sake. Don't do stupid things with other people's car, much less a rental Here's the 47-second video taken from SG Road Vigilante   The Wish loses control at the 0.09 mark of the video. Online chatter Wow. To the Toyota Wish driver, good luck paying for all the damages for a rental car.

Is this another case of street racing during CB?

Could this be another case of street racing spotted on our roads during the Circuit Breaker period? Spotted on Reckless Driver SG's facebook page, a video has been posted showing the camera car driving slowly on the middle land before a small group of cars went past it at a higher speed. Yes. this is milder than the incident on the KPE that had the drivers in the video arrested, with only three cars shown in the short 40-plus-second clip. In fact, we reckon the 'tiong chias' were doing approximately 120-140km/h while the camera car was doing 70-80km/h. The cars, likely a Ford Focus, a Honda FD Civic and a Honda Integra were caught on camera at around 11:20pm on the 25th of May heading towards AYE Jurong inside the CTE tunnel. 1.mp4 On another note, we were surprised to find most of the comments attacking the video owner, saying that the camera car was road-hogging. Do you agree? Let us know!
