The all-new MX-5, which adopts both SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY and Mazda's KODO-Soul of Motion design language, will be rolled out to global markets starting in 2015.

The MX-5 is an iconic model representing Mazda's vehicle-engineering philosophy-the pursuit of driving pleasure. "Innovate in order to preserve" was the motto for the fourth generation, as the development team searched for innovations that go beyond simple evolution. Environmental and safety demands are much more stringent than they were when the first generation MX-5 was introduced 25 years ago, but the fourth generation stays true to the model's original aim of offering the pure driving fun that only a lightweight sports car can. It achieves this through the adoption of SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY and refinement of its appeal to the senses and sensations through which people enjoy cars.

The design of the all-new MX-5 reveals another layer to Mazda's KODO design language. The exquisite proportions make the driver and passenger stand out, and both the interior and exterior evoke the exhilaration of open-top driving. It is the most compact of any generation MX-5 so far and is more than 100 kilograms lighter than the model it replaces, promising a dramatic leap in Jinba-ittai driving fun.

As of July 2014, total production volume of the Mazda MX-5 exceeded 940,000 units and it continues to hold the Guinness World Record for the best-selling two-seater sports car. This highly-celebrated model has received over 200 awards from around the globe including Japan Car of the Year 2005-2006.

I see a faint resemblance to the California, don't really like the tail lamps..

But overall it looks not bad. Nice paint job too!

I hope the local AD will bring this in. It'll be the cheapest convertible available.

Even if I do not buy it, I hope many others will. Such nippy cars that take up little road and parking space is a joy for all fellow drivers.

I dunno but I don't see really any of the kodo design in it. I personally wouldve preferred a kinda similar front end to the mazda 6 style albeit a bit more agressive and roadsterish. I agree this thing has kind of a fish mouth. Overall not crazy about it but I'll give it a chance. Actually it looks a quite a bit like the ferrari california from the front end.

Mitsubishi Evo 10 performs a timely pop and bang which literally smoked a salty cam car driver

In the public's eyes, most often confuse/label Japanese sports cars as an 'Ah beng' car or an ordinary car that has been 'zhng-ed'. In Singapore, it is common for these cars to get hated by the public. Here's one such example: What Happened? In a user-submitted video, the driver/passenger of the cam car can be heard making some remarks about the blue Mitsubishi Evolution X in front of it. The remarks included a sarcastic attempt to mimic the Evo X's noise. Moments later, as the Evo X enters an expressway, it performs a quick launch, resulting in pops and bangs. Thick black smoke and flames could also be seen shooting out of its exhaust.  I must say that the 'smokescreen' was a rather timely response to the complaints coming from the cam car.  Illegally Modified? This might be the first question that pops into your mind for the uninitiated. However, the black smoke, flames, pops and bangs produced from the Mitsubishi Evolution X are due to the anti-lag system installed in the car.  Therefore, it is highly unlikely that the Mitsubishi Evolution X was illegally modified. However, there is still a chance that the car is 'illegally modified' if LTA thoroughly inspects the car.  For all you know, it could be labelled as 'illegally modified' due to heavily tinted windows.  Netizens' Comments Must be because cam car's first time experiencing pops and bangs.  NGL, Evo X is a nice car😍 Every day we learn something new.      ======== Receive a $10 PayNow for every submission we publish on Facebook! Simply WhatsApp us ➡️https://bit.ly/3c6JERA

Toyota driver 'act blur live longer' to escape after reversing into a Mini Cooper twice

Integrity is an essential character-building value that requires one to be accountable and accept responsibility for his/her actions.  Essentially, it can be understood as "doing the right thing, even when no one is looking". Unfortunately for this couple, integrity means nothing to them. Watch this video to find out why: The Backstory The owner of the Mini Cooper returned to the Multi-storey carpark (MSCP), only to discover her damaged Mini Cooper. A gentleman, the eyewitness, informed her that the Toyota Corolla beside her reversed into her car twice while parking.  Later, she learned that the kind eyewitness had waited in the carpark because a note that he placed on the Mini Cooper, which contained his personal contact information, had gone missing. Shortly after, the couple driving the Toyota Corolla, AKA the culprits, returned to the MSCP. After the Mini driver confronted them, the couple acted blur and brushed her off. The husband allegedly turned aggressive and shouted at the Mini driver, "I pay lah, what's the big deal? I pay!", only to be instructed by his wife to get into the car and ignore the Mini driver. Even when the Mini driver was on a call with the Traffic Police and instructed them to stay until TP arrived at their location, the couple ignored and attempted to drive off.  Unfortunately for the couple, their attempt was caught in the above video.  Attempted To Run Her Over In the process of preventing the couple from driving off, the Mini driver stood in front of the Toyota Corolla. However, the driver continued to drive off, endangering the victim's life.  The Consequence Under section 84 of the Road Traffic Act, the driver at fault is liable to perform the following: Stop their vehicle. Provide their personal information to the accident victim(s), including passengers or pedestrians, upon request. Report the accident to the police within 24 hours. Provide assistance if the accident involves injury or death to another person.  Do not move the vehicle(s) involved in the accident.  To all those reading this article, please do not endanger your life in the process of retaining a hit and run culprit - Your safety is of paramount importance. Netizens' Comments Somemore bo ji to own up to their own mistakes.  If you have a solid parking technique, you won't have to rely on reverse cameras😉 This couple really ownself pwn ownself. I guess you can add "Dangerous driving - Driving against the flow of traffic" to the list of traffic charges.     ======== Receive a $10 PayNow for every submission we publish on Facebook! Simply WhatsApp us ➡️https://bit.ly/3c6JERA

An obnoxious SG 'Karen' and her husband attempts to run down a security officer with their Bentley

First of all, let's define the term 'Karen'. According to Wikipedia, 'Karen' is defined as: Watch this video to catch Singapore's very own Karen and her husband in action: What Happened? This incident occurred at Red Swastika School, supposedly one of Singapore's "branded" Primary schools. Two security officers attempted to stop a Bentley from entering the school as it did not have a valid vehicle label. Unhappy at how the Bentley was refused access into the school, the female passenger of the Bentley pulled the most basic 'Karen' move ever. She immediately got out of the car and whipped out her phone to film the school's front gate and two security officers.  Moments later, she hopped back into the passenger seat of the Bentley. And this was when matters escalated. The Bentley driver, supposedly the husband of 'Karen', started driving the car into the school in an attempt to get both security officers out of the way. However, the security officer in the luminous green vest stood firm in front of the Bentley to prevent it from entering the school, risking his life in the process.  This caused the security officer to stumble back a few steps before the Bentley came to a halt.  Subsequently, the security officer could be seen bending down and holding his knees in discomfort.  Not Caught On Film After the entire escapade, a staff from Red Swastika School granted access to the Bentley for it to enter the school.  Later on, the Bentley couple was spotted alighting the kid inside the school's drop-off point. Was it necessary that you got out of your way to cause a traffic jam and risk the lives of others just to alight your kid inside the school's compound? Geez, how embarrassing for the kid. No Record Found After doing some poking around, it turns out that the Bentley's number plate does not exist in LTA's record.   MMM...sus much? What do you guys think of this? Instantaneously, this reminded me of the road raging Audi driver incident (Refer below), where a car workshop gave the driver a wrongly printed number plate.  I am not surprised if this turns out to be the case for the Bentley too.  The Minister has spoken! UPDATE: 11/1/22, 3:55PM A recent user-submitted footage revealed the actual reason for preventing the Bentley from entering Red Swastika School. The Bentley driver apparently "cut queue" to turn into the school and attempted to enter the school by driving against the flow of traffic.  Watch the video here: UPDATE: 11/1/22, 6:55PM The Bentley driver has been arrested. Netizens' Comments My man here straight up tagged the Minster of Education🙌🙌🙌 Actions must be taken against this outrageous Bentley driver!😡 Kudos to you, security uncle! Hope you are alright.     ======== Receive a $10 PayNow for every submission we publish on Facebook! Simply WhatsApp us ➡️https://bit.ly/3c6JERA

Mazda driver with no skills gets stuck on a kerb after mounting it. How did he pass his driving test?

Apart from the one time I saw an oversized trailer mount a kerb while reversing in Ubi, I have never seen any vehicle mount a kerb.  Oh, unless you count learning drivers mounting a kerb during their circuit practice, but that's another story.  Watch this absurd video of a Mazda driver mounting a kerb here: What Happened? This incident occurred at the drop-off point at Woodlands North Plaza. A Mazda 3 driver, who also happens to be a Private Hire Driver, accidentally mounted a kerb while exiting the drop-off point.  What puzzles me is how he mounted the kerb... From Google Maps, the lane for vehicles to exit the drop-off point is pretty wide.  Furthermore, the extent of the kerb mounting was not typical - it was to the extent that his undercarriage was stuck on the kerb! As a result, his car could not move and was stuck on the kerb (If only his car had All-Wheel Drive😆). Subsequently, the driver attempted to dismount from the kerb multiple times, but all he did was further bang up his undercarriage.  Well, it doesn't seem like he cares about the car since the Mazda 3 is a rental car to perform his duty as a Private Hire Driver. So, how did the Mazda 3 driver manage to mount the kerb? Simply because of his lack of driving skills, or was he distracted by his mobile phone? You tell me.  NGL, I chuckled when I first saw the video. The ridiculousness of the incident got the better of me.  Netizens' Comments The difference is one drive for a living while the other got his/her license <1 year ago. Regardless, both drivers CMI and do not deserve their license.  RIGHT? I mean it is not easy to get a kerb rash from rubbing against the kerb, let alone mounting the kerb to this extent.  🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️     ======== Receive a $10 PayNow for every submission we publish on Facebook! Simply WhatsApp us ➡️https://bit.ly/3c6JERA
