blogentry-133713-0-56751400-1414641985_thumb.jpgFans of the previous Subaru Forester STi must be rejoicing now because Subaru will be launching a new STi version of the current fourth generation soon.

blogentry-133713-0-49449500-1414641989_thumb.jpgUnveiled in 2004, the last Forester STi was probably one of the sportiest SUVs out there. Unfortunately it was only meant for sale in Japan.

blogentry-133713-0-00010900-1414641994_thumb.jpgTeased ahead of its official world debut on November 25th, we expect the car to come with the 2.5-litre turbocharged boxer engine from the WRX STi which means it will have 296bhp and 407Nm of torque. Or it could use the Japan-only 2.0-litre turbocharged unit that is found in their variant of the WRX STi which outputs 304bhp and 422Nm of torque. Yup, the Japanese keep all the good stuff to themselves.

blogentry-133713-0-24601000-1414642004_thumb.jpgAs seen from the photos, owners will be getting a car that comes with a bolder bodykit, new rims and bigger brakes. Let's hope the car will make it to our shores!

Will only come in via PI I guess.

Even then, I think no one will buy.

For the previous Forester STi, I know 1 PI boss buy in 1 unit to register to own-self drive and also to double-up as a test car for interested buyers. In the end, his own unit was the only unit he sold...

Surely can't be the only one?! I've seen an orange one driving around in the Holland area. Is that the one you're thinking of?

How about the legacy? The current version doesn't even have a turbo engine.

wah, it's really worth looking forward,

farking the Japanese keep all the good stuff to themselves,

I like 2.0-litre turbocharged outputs 304bhp and 422Nm, which is not lose new XC60,

another concern is what tramsmission the Forester STi, hopefully come with Manual 6sp and 8 spd AT

Likely to come with a 6spd Manual from the Impreza and a 8spd Sports Lineartronic CVT from the WRX S4/Levorg 2.0GT

  • Is 'tiny living' really irrelevant in Singapore?

I discussed the possibility of living in tiny houses in Singapore in an earlier blog post. But as we know, it isn't an option to begin with – no thanks, of course, to our lack of land space.  Someone also pointed out that the idea of tiny houses is "romanticised" – which, I don't deny (but hey, that's why it's a dream). While it's clear tiny houses aren't going to work out here, the concept of 'tiny living' is; not just physically but also mentally. Anyone who has lived enough years lo
