Recently we posted a video here that showed a 691bhp Lamborghini Aventador being barely able to keep up with the Tesla Model S P85D in an all out drag race.

Now, a 425bhp BMW M4 cabriolet is paired to the same electric vehicle and drag-raced to see how far will the deficit in power and weight (265bhp lesser and 250kg heavier) compared to the Aventador will affect the outcome.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uki71gN7ahcWhile it is pretty clear once the Tesla hits its electronically limited top speed of 208km/h ( Tesla is said to release updates to the software which will enable a 250km/h top speed in the coming months), the M4 will catch up and breeze past it. However, top speed is pretty irrelevant in this part of the country and acceleration might actually be more useful. Hmmm... is the end of internal combustion coming to end?
