Three-time Formula 1 world champion and the only driver till now to have been champion for both Ferrari and McLaren, the sport's two most successful constructors, Niki Lauda has said recently that MotoGP racing is more interesting than F1 racing, because of the degree of difficulty.

According to motogp.com, Lauda was quoted as saying that 'Racing bikes are very interesting to watch, because you can see how the rider struggles with his bike. In F1 unfortunately the opposite happens: the cars are very easy to drive, they don't even slide.

While we think Lauda didn't meant that he would rather watch a bike race over a Formula 1 race, he would much prefer cars to be harder to control and slide a bit more. Even Jenson Button thinks the cars are too slow and sensitive. We reckon most spectators will want more action than what we have now too.

Perhaps with the upcoming ban on driver aids and coaching, things will change and F1 racing will become more spectacular once again, though it's hard to believe that teams will intentionally make the cars harder to control.
