blogentry-133713-0-60751200-1448765062_thumb.jpgJust as we wrote that Ferrari's latest creation has sold out, now it seems like BMW's latest bad boy, the BMW M4 GTS, is sold out too. Also reported by Autovisie, all 700 units of the car worldwide have found new owners. We hope eventually one or two units make it to our shores.

The BMW M4 GTS is one of BMW's most technologically advanced products with it featuring two BMW-claimed world firsts: a water-injection system designed to increase power, and OLED (organic LED) taillights that can be formed even thinner than existing LED lamps. With 493bhp and 600Nm produced from its uprated twin-turbo 3.0-litre engine, the car maxes out at a limited 305km/h. The car is nearly 90kg lighter than the BMW M4 and comes with a three-way adjustable coilover suspension.

Nice car, but I never got what's so revolutionary about a water injection system. Lots of tuners have been running water injection and even methanol/water injection for many years in many cars, and it's not that hard to rig up. Many aftermarket ECUs can also be programmed to operate the system automatically at predetermined parameters of boost, rpm, etc.

I suppose it's remarkable because this is a factory car that comes with the tech out of the box, so warranty is assured, yada yada. But technologically, it's not anything to write home about.

Sweet car, though. Did they really need a limiter at 305 km/h? Why not just leave the car limited "naturally" (i.e. aerodynamically)?

Driver races with a Hayabusa and spins out of control but recovers "initial D" style!

Singapore has its very own Takumi! (The main character of Initial D, btw) A video of a car with unknown origins racing against a Suzuki Hayabusa has received over 40 shares under 5 hours! If you haven't already seen the video, here you go! The original video is from District Singapore's Facebook page.   What's happening? In the video, it starts with the Hayabusa abruptly cutting into the cam car's lane and causing the car to swerve and spin out of control. But, the car driver somehow manages to retain back control and continue on his merry way. The kicker? Image: New Initial D Legend 1: Awakening (Sanzigen, Liden Films, Sentai Filmworks) That's not even the best part! If you were observant, you would have noticed a bunch of coins on the dashboard of the car. Watch the video again. The coins barely move even with all the spinning and swerving! Very much like the cup of water Takumi uses in Initial D no? What the people say Hayabusa good siol Confirm There’s that possibility Lol I’m just glad no one got hurt.

Grab driver and his male passenger thinks of others before self in a nasty Thanksgiving car accident

Have you ever watched a car accident video and told yourself in your head that “heng ah, it wasn’t me or someone I know”? I guess it’s human nature. The truth of the matter is – Even if you’re the safest driver in the world, all it takes is just one idiot driver to mess it up for you. So what happens if it happens to you or someone within your social circle? Read on to find out. Sometime in the evening yesterday, 28th November 2019, I received a message from one of my closest friends. It was an image of his heavily damaged Honda Freed. That’s how heavily damaged it was. The cause? This Lorry. It was a pretty bone-chilling sight, but the fact that he was messaging me meant that he was fine, so that was a relief. Eventually, he sent over the video footage of the accident. The video includes both the rear and dashcam footage. In the video, my friend, the Freed Driver, let’s call him Jeff, for privacy sake, is filtering into an expressway. A lorry follows suit, loses control and charges straight into the back of the Freed, shattering the glass on the rear windscreen. Also, that's a damn loud bang.  In the car There’s no in-car footage, but you can hear a brief exchange of conversations between three people in the car – Jeff and his two passengers. Jeff and the other guy were worried about whether anyone was injured, but the lady, presumably in shock, could only think of one thing. She was carrying Thanksgiving potluck food with her when the crash happened, and you can hear her go “Oh no! The gravy casserole’s everywhere!” Whut? Image taken from bigover.com This is what Casserole looks like. Anyhoo, I’m glad all parties are fine. RIP Casserole. You perished so that others could live. The best Thanksgiving dish yet.

This Abang's gangster behaviour got me super pissed off (even when I'm typing this)

In a video submitted to Roads.SG and uploaded on YouTube and Facebook, a recent case of road rage has got me fuming mad with a particular individual. However, I'll try to be as civil and professional as possible. The video was just uploaded about 3 hours ago and has already received more than 100 shares on Facebook. Here's the video, in case you haven't seen it. Video from Road.SG YouTube channel The driver and his mother were entering a HDB estate and driving towards the entrance of a carpark when a white Honda Vezel almost has a head-on collision with their car. Screenshot taken from Roads.SG YouTube Channel Reviewing the footage, you can see the Vezel was on the verge of crossing the white line to the opposing lane. The dashcam driver gives a honk, accident averted, and that should be the end of the story yes? No. An Abang decides that there was an injustice with the horn and goes all aggro on the dashcam driver. Abang wasn't even the driver of the Vezel! Abang:  The relationship between the Honda Vezel driver and Abang is not clear. Dashcam driver tries to defend himself and asks the Abang to look at his dashcam footage for proof, to which, the Abang says "don't need" multiple times. The spark to the argument The dashcam driver then says "Nevermind, LTA will see" and intends to drive off, but Abang  Dashcam driver loses his cool and disregarding the warnings of his mother, he steps out of the car to confront Abang. Abang asks a damn stupid question - "What's your problem?". Dude, the problem is you. But, I digress. Moving on, Abang starts screaming his lungs out at Dashcam Driver. He's so fierce that Dashcam Driver actually starts shivering (the subtitles in the video helps a lot). Screenshot taken from Roads.SG YouTube Channel Shifting over to camera phone footage All this time, we only caught a slight glimpse of Abang. But with video footage from a camera phone, you can now see Exhibit A of the Singaporean Douchebag - Angry Abang. Screenshot taken from Roads.SG YouTube Channel I don't know about you, but when he starts laughing at the camera and saying shit like: Doesn’t it tick you off?  The last straw My blood boils to its very core when he starts shouting at his mother - for presumably getting angry with his stupidity and trying to talk some sense into him. Screenshot taken from Roads.SG YouTube Channel Abang, you sir, are a turd aka shit. That's as vulgar as I can be in this article. What the people say Can get wife meh like that? Comments taken from Roads.SG Facebook page What do you think?

It doesn't matter whose lot it was - Don't forget about the most important thing!

What's the most important thing? Stick to the end to find out! It's a good one. Like legit. A video uploaded on SG Road Vigilante has sparked a furious debate online that split netizens evenly on two sides of the coin. The video shows a Mercedes-Benz "stealing" a carpark lot from the cam car driver. Or is it really "stealing"? That is the question. The video, which was uploaded last week has since received over 260,000 views and almost 1000 comments! If you haven't seen the video, here’s the link courtesy of SG Road Vigilante's Facebook page Have you been in this situation before? In the video, cam car is patiently waiting for a carpark lot at IMM carpark for about 10 minutes. A White Mercedes-Benz CLS Class pulls up a couple of cars in front of the cam car. When the driver of the CLS (let's call him Mr CLS) spots a family walking towards the area he's waiting at; he decides to reverse to "claim more ground". Needless to say, once cam car driver notices what Mr CLS is doing, cam car inches forward to get the soon-to-be-vacant lot as he was waiting there for a long time already. Mr CLS gives him no chance to do so and reverses into the now-empty parking lot. This extra guy To make matters even worse, someone steps out of the CLS (supposedly the son of the driver) and walks over to cam car to give justification why the lot belongs to the occupants of the CLS instead of the cam car . He even makes a couple of rude gestures to the cam car once that's done. So whose lot is it? Some people say that the CLS had the right of way Calculative sia this guy and very specific too Some people jumped to the defence of the patient cam car driver The most important thing It doesn’t matter who the lot belonged to but we can all agree that on the most important thing....... This guy, is a complete a**hole Thanks Johnson! Couldn't have said so better myself.
