Up for auction now on eBay, the red five-door Opel Astra is equipped with a 1.6-litre petrol engine pushing out 115bhp and has only 4,680km on the odometer.

This is because the airbags were disabled in order to install a roll-cage and converting it back would incur quite a bit of cash. The ad also stated that the Opel Technical Team will work with the winning bidder to explain how the vehicle was adapted.

Earnings from this auction will support BEN, which helps unemployed automotive industry workers. The bid, at the time of writing, was £8,000 (S$15,380).
