Demand for Ford GTs way more than supply
The demand for Ford's new GT supercar has exceeded expectations are receiving more than 7,000 applications in just one week. Since production of the turbocharged supercar will be limited to 250 units per year, most of the applicants will never actually get a Ford GT.
In order to buy one, would be owners were made to fill a lengthy application form through an online booking system. Following the closing of the order books on 12th of May, the company will decide which one of the applicants is worthy of getting their new GT. The company decided on applying this system so that they can give priority to customers who are going to drive, care and keep the car instead of discouraging the people who are just looking to resell the car for a good profit.
