The event, a unique collaboration between sgCarMart and FMJ, was an opportunity for MCF members to learn about the different Hokkaido Fly & Drive holiday tour packages.

At the event, staff from FMJ were on hand to share with guests on the unique experience that FMJ's Fly & Drive package offers, by allowing customers to travel at their own pace and plot their own holiday experience along the way. By driving instead of following a more conventional coach tour, travellers will have more luxury of time to take in the beautiful attractions and scenic roads that Hokkaido has to offer.

I wish to compliment MCF for organizing this great event where the ambient is great that attracted a huge turnout, not to mention the great food we have.

It certainly open my eye of what to expect for self driving if I opt for my future holiday trip.

I hope to see more such event in the coming months

Hi, Helloworld99.

Thank you for your interest in MCF hangout event. My name is KobayashiGT and I help to organise such event for MCF members. Usually, we will have a pre-event thread to garner interests for members to join the event. And there is also multiple ads exposure within sgCarMart.com, MyCarForum.com and our facebook fan page. As most of the events are sponsored by our sponsors, so we do not have a fixed dates for each event every month. So you need to always visit MyCarForum more often to check on our events too!

Thank you so much for your interests! I hope to see you next time at our next MCF Hangout!

how do i get invited to such event?

  • Is 'tiny living' really irrelevant in Singapore?

I discussed the possibility of living in tiny houses in Singapore in an earlier blog post. But as we know, it isn't an option to begin with – no thanks, of course, to our lack of land space.  Someone also pointed out that the idea of tiny houses is "romanticised" – which, I don't deny (but hey, that's why it's a dream). While it's clear tiny houses aren't going to work out here, the concept of 'tiny living' is; not just physically but also mentally. Anyone who has lived enough years lo
