Nissan has pulled the cover off the concept car, ahead of its public debut at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show. The production model is expected to look similar to the concept.

Developed in-house by Nismo, the concept comes with a more aggressive body kit, as shown by the tweaked bumpers, side skirts, rear diffuser, and red accents all around.

Inside, more red accent can be found around the car's air vents, seats, doors, push-start button and steering wheel, reminding the driver that this is no ordinary Leaf.

Other than the aesthetics enhancements, the concept also receives a retuned suspension and a "custom-tuned computer that delivers instant acceleration at all speeds".
