The new Nissan Kicks replaces the Juke in one of the fastest-growing segments in the market. It is set to rival the Honda HR-V/Vezel and Toyota CH-R.

Looking less adventurous than the Juke, the crossover still looks sharp while featuring a familiar design language as with the rest its SUV family.

The car will be powered by a 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol unit, rated at 125bhp and will be paired to the company’s proven Xtronic CVT transmission, with Nissan expecting a combined fuel economy rating of 14km/L. Interestingly, there won't be any AWD variant available for sale.

Highlight features in the car include a 7.0-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Nissan’s Intelligent Around View Monitor as well as an optional Bose premium sound system. Automatic Emergency Braking is likely to be standard while Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are options that will be available on higher grade variants in certain markets.
