Fans of the new movie Tomb Raider should notice the New Volvo XC40 alongside our heroine Lara Croft, starring newcomer Alicia Vikander. The latest Tomb Raider movie is in theaters now.

Starring Academy Award winner Alicia Vikander, Tomb Raider depicts the young and resolute Lara Croft, who, against the odds and armed with only her sharp mind, blind faith and inherently stubborn spirit, must learn to push herself beyond her limits as she journeys into the unknown. If Lara survives this perilous adventure, it could earn her the name tomb raider.

The new Volvo XC40 is the brand’s first entry into the compact luxury SUV segment. It is the first model on the Volvo’s new modular vehicle architecture (CMA) platform which will underpin all other upcoming vehicles in the 40 Series including fully electrified vehicles. Mot powerful of the range is the XC40 T5 which holds a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder turbo engine with 8-speed gearbox, along with all-wheel-drive, and it churns up to 250 hp and 350 Nm of torque. A month earlier, Volvo announced a new 1.5-liter, three-cylinder, direct-injection petrol engine for this model. The three-cylinder powertrain (badged T3) comes with a six-speed manual transmission. Meantime, an optional eight-speed automatic transmission will follow next year.

All of the technologies audiences have come to expect from Volvo’s 90 and 60 Series’ are also equipped in the new XC40, making it one of the best-equipped small premium SUVs on the market.
