According to a british publication, the range-topping version will get more than what the R35 GT-R had when it was first launched and 'seniors officials from Nissan' have been told that the next Z will share its rear-wheel drive platform, engine line-up and electric system with the future Infiniti Q60 coupe.

Using a reworked version of the turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 found in other Red Sport Infinitis, the Nismo variant is set to get up to 475bhp and will feature an all-wheel drive system to make the most of the power.

Also, there has been reports that Nissan is looking to partner Mercedes-Benz to develop the next-generation Z sports car to share development and production costs of creating the new sports car. This could make sense as the demand for coupes hasn't been growing.
