blogentry-114362-0-33817400-1523852327_thumb.jpgThe Lamborghini Miura holds a place in the pantheon of all-time great supercars. Lamborghini paid homage to the Miura with an Aventador decked out in vintage cues two years ago, and the company is at it once again. Rather than a limited run of 50 cars like last time, though, this homage is a one-off paint scheme applied to a special Lamborghini Aventador SV.

blogentry-114362-0-52159800-1523852330_thumb.jpgThanks to DuPont Registry, we know that this car was unveiled at Lamborghini Newport Beach. This very green Aventador SV has been outfitted to honor an equally green Miura SV. That car, referred to by its chassis number of 4846, is one of the finest to run through Lamborghini's Polo Storico restoration division. Polo Storico brought 4846 back to its original glory, including its Miura Green paintwork.

Now there's a modern link to that vintage beauty. The Aventador SV shown here wears the same hue on the body and even has a silver lower panel to mimic the Miura. The cabin is finished in tan leather that also matches 4846.

We'd say the Aventador SV is already pretty special simply for its 739 horsepower and the glorious noise that accompanies such fury. That all emanates from the 6.5-liter V-12 engine sitting out back.

Two jokers trick the internet into thinking their Fiat Doblo did 200km/h

In case you're wondering what a Fiat Doblo looks like. It's a goods vehicle. Why is this information important for this story? Take a look at this latest viral video But, I don’t understand Malay! Don't worry! We translated the whole conversation for you thanks to my malay colleagues!  Sounds similar? I think they made this video in response to another video of two guys doing 180km/hr on the expressway in a Suzuki Swift Sport. We wrote an article about that just yesterday btw (blatant backlinking opportunities should not be wasted). You may click the link below to check the story out. https://www.mycarforum.com/blogs/entry/6008-someone-is-keen-to-show-that-their-swift-sport-can-do-180kmh-on-the-cte/ On top of that, the person who uploaded the video included this in the caption It's a good laugh If you didn't realise, they weren't actually speeding. The speedometer of the vehicle seems to be faulty, and these two funny guys thought that they could have a bit of fun with it. The driver's laughter made me lol more than once. That’s for sure. Don't need call polis please and thank you!

Crazy accident causes Nissan Qashqai to flip and more

A Nissan qashqai was caught on video going out of control last friday in Bishan. As seen in the low-resolution video, the white SUV crashed through the fence and onto the wrong direction of Bishan Road while doing a flip and more. Thankfully, the lost of control of the car did not cost any lives. According to SG Road Vigilante, The 80-year-old driver and his 74-year-old female passenger were conscious when they were taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.   Obviously, there is going to be some negativity once the driver's age has been revealed... Thankfully there are some nice people out there that are more understanding...

BMW M2 Competition crashes into bus stop

Most of us must be cursing and swearing when the alarm clock rang this morning, as the weather was perfect for sleeping in thanks to the morning thunderstorm. We have almost no doubt that the BMW driver in the following photos must be really angry with himself too! The following photos have been in circulation around social media platorms since the morning of 13 May 2020. Not much is known about the cause of the accident but the it did occur to us that this crash happened between Kallang Road and Geylang Road. The wet roads caused by the rain in the morning might have caused the BMW M2 Competition driver to lose control. With more than 400bhp going to the rear wheels, this is one very 'driftable' weapon...
