Lewis Hamilton helps Mercedes to take the top seat at the F1 Constructors Championship standings after a victory in France. Lewis remained unchallenged throughout the entire race however that was not the case for the other team members.

Valtteri Bottas faced issues during the race in France when he was clipped by Sabastian Vettel in the opening lap. This made it an uphill battle for Bottas but he still managed to climb all the way back to the seventh spot with six points for Mercedes.

Here are the standings after the French Grand Prix:

Does a coupe have to be pretty? We test the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe!

Idris is back and this time we are testing another controversial BMW! We get down low with the car to look at the details that make the 2 Series Gran Coupe more than just a four-door with a sloping roof. Of course, what many of you would be concerned about would be if there is sufficient space at the rear for those unfortunate enough to have to use the rear doors. Idris looks like he is alright back there (matching clothing and seat colours entirely coincidental). But you will want to watch the video if you're planning on regularly squeezing three in there. And if you're looking for an interior that will wow passengers, the 2 Series Gran Coupe sports BMW's latest Operating System 7.0, delivering you the suite of BMW's connected services. Join us for the drive in the video! If you like your steering wheels thicc, this is something you'll want to consider.

This is not the way to make friends with a fellow VW owner

For most owners who are into cars, they will tend to want to meet owners who own the same car/model as themselves. Hence from time to time, we will see many brand/model-based car clubs gather at places like the indoor stadium to chat and get to know more about their cars. However, we are kind of sure these Volkswagen drivers in the video below won't be friends anytime soon... Uploaded on ROADS.sg, we can see a Volkswagen Golf coming from the opposite direction before colliding straight on with the camera car (a Volkswagen Jetta). The accident happened on the morning of 22nd of April at the PIE interchange between Jurong Town Hall Road and Bukit Batok Road. There were no reports as of press time of what caused the Golf owner to drive into the opposite lane. We hope he did not faint or suffer a heart attack, causing him to lose control of his car. We did noticed the Scirocco (yes, another Volkswagen) moving away from danger as the Golf came closer. Good reflexes dude. Maybe if they stayed at home, such things won't have happened... videoplayback.mp4

Is this another case of street racing during CB?

Could this be another case of street racing spotted on our roads during the Circuit Breaker period? Spotted on Reckless Driver SG's facebook page, a video has been posted showing the camera car driving slowly on the middle land before a small group of cars went past it at a higher speed. Yes. this is milder than the incident on the KPE that had the drivers in the video arrested, with only three cars shown in the short 40-plus-second clip. In fact, we reckon the 'tiong chias' were doing approximately 120-140km/h while the camera car was doing 70-80km/h. The cars, likely a Ford Focus, a Honda FD Civic and a Honda Integra were caught on camera at around 11:20pm on the 25th of May heading towards AYE Jurong inside the CTE tunnel. 1.mp4 On another note, we were surprised to find most of the comments attacking the video owner, saying that the camera car was road-hogging. Do you agree? Let us know!

Two jokers trick the internet into thinking their Fiat Doblo did 200km/h

In case you're wondering what a Fiat Doblo looks like. It's a goods vehicle. Why is this information important for this story? Take a look at this latest viral video But, I don’t understand Malay! Don't worry! We translated the whole conversation for you thanks to my malay colleagues!  Sounds similar? I think they made this video in response to another video of two guys doing 180km/hr on the expressway in a Suzuki Swift Sport. We wrote an article about that just yesterday btw (blatant backlinking opportunities should not be wasted). You may click the link below to check the story out. https://www.mycarforum.com/blogs/entry/6008-someone-is-keen-to-show-that-their-swift-sport-can-do-180kmh-on-the-cte/ On top of that, the person who uploaded the video included this in the caption It's a good laugh If you didn't realise, they weren't actually speeding. The speedometer of the vehicle seems to be faulty, and these two funny guys thought that they could have a bit of fun with it. The driver's laughter made me lol more than once. That’s for sure. Don't need call polis please and thank you!
