Toyota reveals new 86 variant

blogentry-133713-0-76744800-1530611292_thumb.jpgWith the help of Gazoo Racing, Toyota has introduced a new variant of its 86. Dubbed 86 GR Sport, the latest product is a more restrained version of its flagship 86 GR variant.

 

blogentry-133713-0-50799900-1530611297_thumb.jpgMarketed as a daily driver, car is equipped with a new front lip spoiler, side skirts and 17-inch aluminium wheels with a black finish.

 

blogentry-133713-0-91577700-1530611306_thumb.jpgInside, the car gets a smaller diameter steering wheel which that wrapped in leather and features silver contrast stitching. The GR logo can now be found on the steering wheel, the start/stop button as well as on the instrument cluster.

 

blogentry-133713-0-22816700-1530611302_thumb.jpgElsewhere, the car comes with a rear brace and a Brembo braking system with red calipers. The 86 GR Sport is only available in three different colours - Crystal Black Silica, Crystal White Pearl and the Pure Red as seen in the photos.

 

Powertrain wise, nothing has been changed which also means the car's output remains at 204bhp, thanks to the 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated boxer engine.
