Launched in Singapore nearly a year ago, the Honda Civic Type R has been spied in Europe undergoing tests with a different front and rear bumper.

Spotted on Carscoops, these camouflaged prototypes looks very much similar to the current model. However, upon closer inspection, the white car looks like it has a slightly different front air intakes while the rear bumpers looked like it also received some slight design changes.

As for the red prototype, we can see that the car is running a smaller rear wing but is still wearing the current model's rear bumper. Could this be a new luxury variant for the Type R?

With nothing confirmed at the moment, this looks an update that could just be cosmetic.
