blogentry-133713-0-42059600-1543917930_thumb.jpgLove the Cayman GT4 Rally Car? Right now it is a concept, but if Porsche can get a hundred orders, you will be able to see it being raced officially.

According to an article on Carscoops, Porsche Motorsport chief, Frank-Steffen Walliser, revealed the condition for the concept car to be put into production. However, the brand was very clear on having no intention to run its own rally team and the cars will very likely be raced by private competitors.

This is despite Walliser claiming that the car created a very good first impression as “even the WRC’s top five drivers all wanted to drive it.”

Purely rear-wheel driven, the rally car is a even more hardcore version of the Cayman GT4 and comes with full underbody protection, energy-absorbing foam element in the doors and auxiliary lights. It uses a 3.8-litre flat-six that produces 380bhp and is matched to a dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

Accord driver goes bersek and lets camera car rear end him

After watching this clip that was spotted on SG Road Vigilante, we can't help but see the importance of being able keep our own temper in control. Losing one's temper is easy and when not kept in check, you might end up doing something you will regret in the future. Shot on the evening of 26th of September 2020 along Central Blvd, a Honda Accord can be seen in the video cutting in from the left of the camera car at high speed before slamming onto its brakes real hard. The camera car, which itself seems to be going along at quite some speed, could not stop in time and crashed into the Accord as the result. While no one can confirm the Accord driver's intention, it is almost safe to say that he just wanted to let the camera knock into him by braking hard to a stop for no reason. As it was a slight bump, no one was hurt. The Accord driver then got out calmly and proceed to take some photos. So guys, what do you reckon? Is this part of a road rage incident which the camera car's footage did not show? Or is it an insurance scam? Or is it a combination of both? Let us know in the comments below!

Law-breaking cyclists get into chain collision!

We wonder if these group of cyclists are aware that the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing when they ride in such a large group.. Posted by the people from SG Road Vigilante on 7th of Aug 2020 is a video of a large group of cyclist riding together seriously before a crash causes a chain collision of bicycles. Some of us might find the accident funny while some would be shocked at how dangerous riding on the road could be. We just hope that everyone recovers well from their fall. Of course, such a post will put netizens into a commenting frenzy where everyone will be slamming the cyclists for road-hogging and riding in a group of more than five.  Do you feel that these large gatherings should be stopped? Or do you feel that more and more cyclists are taking advantage of our roads? Let us know...

Silly cyclist crashes into stationary van

A van has been injured in this accident due to a cyclist's silly carelessness. Jokes aside, this is quite an unfortunate incident whereby a cyclist smashed into the back of a Toyota Hiace van which was stationary along one of Old Airport Road's traffic junction. The accident happened in the wee hours of the morning, with the cyclist apparently beating a red light at the previous junction as traffic was light. With the need to go as fast possible, he likely chose keep his gaze low on the road to be as aerodynamic as possible without realising that the van that he was about to crash into had actually stopped at the upcoming traffic junction.  Thankfully, the cyclist survived but he sure looked quite messed up. We hope he recovers well! P.S. SG Road Vigilante's video thumbnail might be slightly disturbing for some. Viewer discretion advised!

Netizens dig out black Golf GTI driver's former antics

Remember the black Volkswagen mk5 Golf GTI that was spotted racing on CTE at night with an Mitsubishi Evo X before causing a van to crash and flip? Here's a recent cum compilation video of the GTI causing havoc on our roads. As you guys can see these are some pretty reckless driving. A big no-no when dashcams are everywhere. And yes how could we forget the ever-increasing number of Facebook pages that shame bad drivers. Naturally, the comments section on SG Road Vigilante's page has its supporters slamming the driver. On a less serious note, the GTI is a pretty good point and shoot car with its fast-acting DSG box and turbo engine eh?
