Dark days are in store for all of us.

To all those finding it difficult to resist the urge to head outside and to travel, Audi Australia has a treat in store, perfect for all those already suffering from cabin fever during these circuit breaker days.

Unwind in the comfort of your own home and join Audi on a four-hour long drive of the New South Wales countryside in the all new Audi A6 as it travels through rolling hills and even navigates past dense fog and rainy sections.

Hopefully this will aid in calming you guys down a little. Leave it running as a lullaby before you go to sleep? Heh!

Stay safe everyone! #flattenthecurve

Traffic Police bike gets into accident while chasing offender

Now this is not something the residents of Ang Mo Kio get to see everyday! A Traffic Police officer has apparently skidded on the wet floor and crashed his Yamaha bike at the lift lobby of Block 619 Ang Mo Kio. As reported by SG Road vigilante, the incident happened on 27 May 2020 and eye witnesses claim that the officer was trying to chase another motorbike through the void deck when the police officer lost control and hit the wall. The comments by netizens were generally supportive of the officer going all the way in the fight for justice, with the usual few negative views here and there.

Park properly otherwise it might bite you back!

This is why we should always park properly. We were alerted to someone's posts on his facebook page, showing a BMW X6 XDrive35i badly parked at Jurong Point Shopping Center. Like what the photos show, the netizen who is presumed to be driving the Toyota Altis that is parked beside, barely had space to squeeze into his lot. The large BMW SUV had kind of edged into the page owner's lot causing him to be quite pissed.  By parking badly, and of course no thanks to the Altis driver, the BMW owner will be having lots of difficulty getting into his car.  So What do you guys think of this? Is it fair to 'punish' the BMW driver who ill-parked? Or do you think the BMW driver had made an honest mistake as it simply wanted to be further away from the lorry beside it?

Singer rants on Facebook about cars making "loud explosive noise"

A popular local Singer/Songwriter has taken to her facebook page to rant about cars making loud explosive noises where she lives. 1 bang 2.mp4 In her post, Beverly Morata Grafton pointed out in her post she has been experiencing "exhausts have been popping off like gunshots from 10:30pm and counting. And like every weekend since mid April, they will do so until 4am plus in the morning..."  From her photos and videos that she provided, we gathered that these incidents happenen along Yishun Ave 1, where Sinopec Yishun is situated at. This stretch has a speed camera but car enthusiasts are known to still gun their cars there while heading towards the Yishun Dam. We will not go into the rest of her post as it can be a bit demeaning and vulgar. For those who are curious, you can view her post below. In the video that was taken on the 25th of April, we could identify a white Volkswagen Golf accelerating away quickly from the petrol station before letting off some loud bangs, much to the annoyance of the songwriter.     Being a post on the writer's personal page, it was no surprise to find the comments supporting her views.    But what do you guys think? More pops and bangs for everyone? Or should we cooperate for quieter neighbourhoods?

Red-light-beating AETOS driver exclaims "Potong Jalan" after getting T-boned by taxi!?

A video of an accident between an AETOS car and a taxi has become viral. The video was uploaded on Singapore Road Accident's Facebook page less than 13 hours ago and has since garnered 267 shares! If you haven't seen the video, here you go! In the video, the AETOS driver makes a right turn when the right-turn arrow is in the red. The oncoming taxi was unable to brake in time and crashed head-on into the side of the AETOS car. How do we know this? The video is so blurred! It's a simple skill of deduction, my dear Watson. Spot it? Just in case, here's how it should look to make a proper right turn. Now compare it with the screenshot above. Potong Jalan siol A few second after the crash, the AETOS driver starts shouting (to no one in particular): "Potong Jalan siol."   I always thought that this phrase meant "steal" or "walked away". Like "I potong jalan-ed his girlfriend." Ooooh. Thanks, Smart Local! I digress. There was no way the taxi “potong-ed” the AETOS driver because the taxi had the right of way. If you don’t speak Malay, you might have missed this I went through the video with my Malay-speaking colleagues, and they picked up something interesting. At 0.33 – 0.35 ish of the video, the driver says "Kau suroh jalan eh?" - "you said move eh?". This was probably directed to the passenger who told him to go ahead and make the turn at the start of the video. This AETOS driver damn fast to push blame sia.   What the people say Another guy caught it too! And, yes, I hope everyone is fine as well. It was quite a hard crash. Agreed. There’s always a practical commenter. Is it?
