No, the Lancer should not have slowed down. That would've resulted in an accident. Bad drivers often get the idea that slowing down is always the answer. Sometimes slowing down is more dangerous. The Lancer drove well. If I had to quibble, I'd say by defensive driving principles, he shouldn't have been going abreast of the cam car at all. Either go slower or faster to leave a comfortable gap to slot into. But the fact that he managed anyway without the cam car having to ebrake means he pretty much did OK. 

The damn Audi on the other hand... bloody dangerous driver. P plate or not he should have his licence revoked or at least loaded with DPs for not yielding to traffic on the major road. Still 12DP in 1st year = gantong right? 

Driver of Lancer is a much better driver compared to an expensive TT with a white elephant driver 

The Audi driver is clear at fault, a very dangerous act to other road users. Should report to TP with this video!

The Cam driver is the best among the three.

He managed to keep a safe distance while the other 2 sort among themselves which is the lousier driver.

If the cam driver had driven just alittle bit faster (on his safe, independent lane) the 2 other would be dead by now.

IMO it's not possible for the Audi TT to not see the Lancer coming as it's negotiating the bend. The TT's intention was to move ahead the coming traffic. But the turbo lag in the old 1.8L turbo engine is overwhelmingly...laggy. Plus the driver being a noob he was probably slow around the bend. He absolutely couldnt pull it off and got cut off obviously. Kuah kuah....

Being caught on dash cam and for the world to see is probably most humiliating. Especially being made a gif running on a loop indefinitely.
