Now this is not very smart. Thanks to social media apps like Instagram allowing news to spread like bush fire, you now best keep your 'bad' stuff to yourself...

Check out this video of some mates videoing themselves going at high speed on our expressways in the wee morning of 10th May 2020.

As seen on SG Road Vigilante, this insta story posted by n1zem, shows them going as fast as 180km/h in their Suzuki Swift Sport. Granted, the roads are pretty empty as we are in the midst of the Circuit Breaker period but there is still no reason for going this fast.

For those who are wondering, 'Naked Crew" is a local car group and they can be found on Instagram.

As usual, the comments by netizens are harsh and probably a bit hurtful.

Please la. The public service and home team is busy enough containing a national crisis, and we still have young adults not taking care of their own personal safety and responsibility on the road.

Spare a thought for your friends (brother and sisters) working in the hospital, they don't need extra workload, neither do they want to displace another ambulance to pick up your bloody bodies should an accident happen to you.

Going fast on a straight doesnt require any skill.

You just need to throw away your brain and inflate your balls.

Almost any car on sale today, given enough distance, can get to 180kph.

How quickly you get there, however, is another question entirely.

Hmm, can see it's really fast but maybe their wallets also quite full?

Somehow, they don't appear to be overtaking other cars as fast as their speed suggests. I'm assuming other cars in the video are traveling at a more civil speed of <=90 km/hr.

Agree, and also the level of control and stopping power still available to the driver.

That is what makes sports cars what they are. It's a package, not just about straight line acceleration or top speed.

  • Carpark Review: Junction 8

Built in the 1980s, Bishan (or Bishan New Town) may not be one of the earliest housing estates in Singapore, but it was the first whose HDB architecture saw a departure from the more brutalist designs of the past and featured more variation in height and design.  Residents are primarily served by Junction 8, which opened in 1993. Now more than 30 years old, it remains the sole mall in the Bishan East area. Driving there? Here’s our quick review of the carpark.  Manoeuvrability: T
