Seen on ROADS.sg and contributed by Syed Al-Qudree,  this very comprehensive guide even though some might argue that it is not easy to judge the distance between the front car and yours when you are pre-positioning in Step 1.

I still use what I learned when I was a learner (only for parallel parking). It's easy to remember and works every time.

Me too... My parallel parking results depends on luck ...if lucky,  swee swee.  If not lucky, then eyesore.

I will usually try to find reverse lot instead...

Motorcyclist nearly gets head crushed under a Honda!

Saw this shocking footage on ROADS.sg Facebook page, the first thought that came across my mind was, woah, the rider was literally centimetres away from death! Really, the spot his helmet contacted the ground was in the direct path of the Honda Vezel's front left tyre! Unsurprisingly the comment section was filled with praises for the driver of the Honda Vezel. Indeed, it was the driver's attentive driving and lightning-quick reflexes that saved the rider's life. In fact, it looks like he had damaged his car in the process of dodging the fallen biker - a truly selfless move! As for what caused the rider to fell over, there were some speculations: Seems like it could've been due to exhaustion or issues with the bike.   At the end of the day, we need to remember that, as drivers, we should always be attentive, and aware of the surroundings - put down that phone! Be it a driver or a biker, we should always aim to get on the road only after getting sufficient rest, and also to keep our vehicles in tip-top condition. That way, we can all stay safe on the roads.   You can watch the full video on ROADS.sg's Facebook page

Honda Fit gets caught in a battle of egos!

Here's another battle of egos between two drivers.   Spotted on SG Road Vigilante is the video of a camera car going up against a Honda Fit that has a Private-hire decal. It also has a P-plate in case you didn't notice.  To cut to the chase, both drivers ended up facing each other on a single lane road that was filled with other vehicles illegally parked on one side. A not-very-pleased lady then got out of her Honda and went up to the camera car before giving him/her a piece of her mind. We don't hear or see anything from the camera car's end but we reckoned something happened, causing the lady to flash her middle finger before heading back into her Fit. Sadly, we don't get see how this silly battle of pride and ego ends in the video.  In our opinion, both drivers seemed foolish. Is it so hard to just give way so that everyone can move on? Let us know in the comments what you guys think!

Taxi driver tries to pick a fight after driver behind refuses to give way!

Have you encountered trouble at carpark entries and realised that you needed to have another go with the IU scanner but the car behind is so close that you cant even reverse a tiny bit? We sure have and know how troublesome it is get the car behind to reverse so that you can re do the IU scan. Often, the driver behind refuses to bulge leaving you in an awkward position and frustrated at the driver behind you.  Something like this happened on 22nd of October 2020 at Crawford Court between a Prius Trans-Cab and an unknown camera car. However, egos and tempers got the best of them and things turned out ugly.  Who was in the wrong? Watch the video as posted by SG Road Vigilante and let us know in the comments below!

LTA can come into your home to check on your car!

If you think your loud-sounding car is safe from the authorities just because you stay in a private property, you might want to think twice now. A photo of a Ferrari 488 GTB being inspected inside someone's front yard has been circulating around in most car group chats over the last weekend.  From what we understand, it is almost unheard of for LTA enforcement officers to venture into a non-public area to inspect a car that might be flouting the laws. While we are unsure of the reasons while this particular Ferrari is being looked at, we reckon the reason might be neighbours who are unhappy about the loud exhaust noises emitting from the car. On a side note, those who are in the know will wonder why the officer is looking under the car when its belly is all covered up... Check out what neitzens on SG Road Vigilante have to say about this. Let us know if you agree!
