So today, we have a video that highlights the ultimate Singaporean gangster driver.

Uncle Koba has watched this video more than ten times and still raging internally 😈

Disclaimer Alert!

Please do not copy the following stunt that this Toyota Wish driver has pulled. Always drive graciously and have a heart for other drivers and pedestrians.

Unspoken rules of parking

There are 'unwritten rules' when it comes to parking whether it may be at a HDB, condominium, shopping mall or wherever.

A vehicle waiting to park can wait for a lot to open up within a 'three lot range' from the front and rear of his vehicle. This range varies from person to person but other drivers looking for parking space would usually leave a healthy distance between their car and yours.

But, if you are a gangster driver like this Toyota Wish driver, all you need to do is spot an empty lot, head in and yell "Please move your car!" when confronted.

Here's the video for you to rage at.

Who does this?

A#$holes. Only a@#holes do this.

giphy.gif

Hello a#$hole. You're famous now.

giphy.gif

The poor dude that wanted to park came out and confronted the Wish driver

Here's a breakdown of their short conversation:

Quote

Victim: You want to be gangster, is it? I already got the video of you snatching the lot.

Gangster😎: PLEASE MOVE YOUR CAR. (flicking him off with a wave of his hands)

Victim: You want to be gangster is okay. You want to "scare" me right? Never mind, I will make you famous.

Gangster😎: Please move, people. . . .

Morale of the story

Your time may be precious, but that doesn't mean that other people's time isn't.

We should respect one another no matter what we do in life.

If this happened to Uncle Koba, I might have just parked in front of him and ask him to wait for me to leave then he can leave. 😬 #angry

Parking must have etiquette lah, first come first serve but got tactic also. Don't move too far from lot, have to see situation and prevent this kind of person from snatching lot under your nose.

I always wind down window and ask if the car before me is waiting for the empty lot, if he says go ahead I will then thank him and park else wait lor.

best is to hazard light and block the lot, wait for the wish to pass then reverse in lor. Also just do a diagonal reverse in lah.
Whether u perpendicular or diagonal reverse in, oncoming car also cannot go past what.

Low experience cam car driver lost parking lot and decided to confront the other driver to complain and take video. Then post on internet to try to get people to agree.

If cam car had enough experience he would have found a way to block the lot and slowly park in.

I think carcam driver was a tad too rough too. I understand that he was upset that the person cut into his lot but he was quite a distance away and it could well have been a misunderstanding e.g. the driver who cut him didn't see him then and quicky swooped in to prevent anyone from taking the lot.

Carcam driver seems keen on agitating the driver by calling him names like gangster when he himself was shouting like one.. life's ironies.

it is clearly the wish driver is an opportunist. He knows the cam car is getting ready to park and he quick did a front parking. We all normally do reverse parking correct? In a way, he spoiled the market that whoever act fast who gets the lot, we don't respect the first come first serve rules anymore. Do we all want all of our fellow drivers to behave like that?

In conclusion, the wish driver is a thief and steal others lot. SHOULD BE DAMNED!

Subjective.... the cam car was kinda far to do reverse parking , there was a oncoming white car coming “might be looking for a lot too” Toyota wish driver although not handsome so kinda hard looking at his face but might not want to lose this parking lot to the on coming white car, when cam car driver might be giving out an indecisive signal action .....

Yeah, encountered this situation many times.

If I see a packed carpark, I'll just park somewhere further and take a nice stroll with my wife

Haha, that's true.

There are so many instances when we walk pass the packed carpark, the cars waiting there are in their exact same spots.

No point waiting so long, might as well make use of the time to paktor.

I think he did not imagine the wish will head in .. but you are right he could have slow down or cut out to the oppersite lane to show attempt

The cam car is inexperienced and too far away from the lot. So the Wish driver can have some benefit of doubt. Having said that I have had a lot snatched away from me when I was already diagonally reversing in so I can sympathize with the cam driver.

Caught an Audi A8 with zero road etiquette along Lower Delta Road

I guess money can't buy proper road etiquette, can it? On 5th May 2021, a short video was posted on Facebook of an Audi A8 driver driving recklessly along Lower Delta Road. It's so bad that I even experienced some serious second-hand embarrassment from watching it.  For those of you who cannot stomach the video, I am going to provide a play-by-play description of the incident below. So, we start off with the camcar driver, who is innocently drives along the road and slows down when approaching a red light at a traffic junction. He stops behind a black Audi A8, which continues to inch forward past the white line with total disregard to the red light. The driver continues to try his luck and even attempts to turn right while there's traffic coming from both sides on the adjacent road. As if realising that there's no way the universe will let it turn right, the Audi suddenly reverses and almost hits the camcar.  Once the lights turn green, the Audi wastes no time zooming ahead without stopping at the right turn pocket. The driver positions the Audi dangerously near oncoming vehicles as if asking for an accident to happen.  The Audi edged so far into the lane with oncoming traffic that it even made a silver vehicle stop dead in its tracks to avoid a collision. To carry on forward, the silver car had to manoeuvre itself around the Audi in an awkward fashion. If you thought that was all, think again. There's more! When the Audi driver saw an empty pocket of space, it sped off to complete the right turn, but there were two oncoming vehicles that could have crashed into the Audi if they had gone any faster. Netizens quickly took to the comments to voice their opinions (with some speculating that the Audi driver is either drunk, high or does not have a driving license): Simplified translation: 'You have to wait for death if you want to reincarnate, what's the rush?' What do you guys think of this road menace?

Lexus GS300 doing his rendition of sway dancing while nearly kissing the wall, all with an expired road tax

You know, usually when I think of swaying side-to-side, I think of something like this.  Side-to-side motion, everyone looking good and enjoying themselves. However, when it comes to our local roads, swaying side-to-side usually means this.... Yup. Someone new is getting their 15 minutes of fame today. First of all, a Lexus GS300? I'm giving you props for that as I personally quite like that car. After all, a creamy 3.0-litre V6 from Toyota producing 245bhp and 310Nm of torque in something that comfortable is nothing to sneeze at. What I unfortunately cannot commend you on is your driving, because not only is this Lexus swaying back and forth plus in and out of their lane, they damn near kissed the wall as well.  Looks like the Lexus just barely missed the wall too, the lucky bugger. My fellow motorist, if you are feeling rich and dare to risk damage to your car like that, would you mind donating it to me instead. There are a lot of things I would do with that money, starting with not driving like you so I wouldn't have to risk expensive bodywork to my car. Seriously, if you're tired or unable to drive for whatever reason, DON'T DRIVE. Do you know that you can be just as complicit for tired driving just as you are for drunk driving? When you are tired, your reactions are slow and dulled, and you are unaware of what's going on around you, thus making yourself a danger not only to yourself, but also to other road users. Research has shown that driving while tired is almost as good as driving under the influence of alcohol. Either way, it's not going to end well for you because you aren't in full control of your vehicle, making you even more susceptible to other users on the road.  But, there is still one more thing with this Lexus. How is it possible to not realise that your road tax has been expired for over 3 months? Either you have ignored all the notifications sent you with regards to this issue, or you are just plain ignorant and refuse to pay your dues. Whatever it is, Lexus driver, due to your appearance online, people are reminding you that your road tax has expired a really long time ago, and this should be enough prompting for you to get your road tax renewed.  Being a considerate driver is more than just signalling, not road hogging, and having good road manners. It also entails not putting the other road users around you in danger because you are unable to drive properly, thus causing more danger not only to yourself but everyone around you on the road. It's already stressful enough to drive in Singapore. Don't give yourself a reason to end up on this blog even though we do enjoy writing about your stupidity!

Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupe driver does a Boom Boom Boom. Does not end well

A Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupe has been caught doing 'Boom Boom Boom' noises in one of the HDB carparks along Hougang Street 61 early in the morning last night. This has not gone well for him as videos of him revving his car that has been tuned to make "pop and crackle" noises has gone viral. s.MP4 According to unnamed sources, it seemed that the green CLA Coupe owner has been approached by home owners staying nearby for the noise pollution and a fight ensued. The police was called in and the CLA owner looked like he has been charged for causing hurt a.k.a Penal Code 323 as we can see from the Whatsapp screenshots. He was intoxicated too but was not charged for drink-driving as his female friend was at the wheel.

Cyclist gets into an argument with BMW driver for not giving him space on the road

As a driver, I always groan whenever I see a cyclist in front of me. As bicycles are naturally slower than cars, they tend to hog the lane they're on and I try my best to always steer clear away from them as possible. Not everyone's like that though. Let's take this BMW driver in the video for example. In the video, dated 15th March 2021, you can see that the driver doesn't adhere to the 'keep a 1.5m distance away from cyclists' rule nor does he steer away from the bicycle. If I didn't know any better, it actually looks like the driver wanted to run the cyclist down. Here's the video (turn up the volume to listen in on the conversation): For those who don't understand Hokkien, don't worry, Uncle Koba will be your translator The heated exchange happens after the cyclist slapped/knocked the side of the car to warn the driver how close the car was to him. The driver comes to a stop and horns 🥳 The driver lets out a string of vulgarities that does not need any translation   Cyclist: Eh, you purposely one is it?  Driver: What's the matter? I'm driving!️ Cyclist: Why are you coming closer and closer to me? Driver: Did I bang you? Cyclist: The road so big, why you choose to keep to this lane?   The rest of the video goes on to talk about their father, mother, cats & dogs.  Then the driver speeds off, leaving a fuming cyclist in the dust 💨 Do you think the driver should have given more space? Or, do you think that the cyclist has very entitled views on how cyclists should be treated on the roads?
