So today, we have a video that highlights the ultimate Singaporean gangster driver.

Uncle Koba has watched this video more than ten times and still raging internally 😈

Disclaimer Alert!

Please do not copy the following stunt that this Toyota Wish driver has pulled. Always drive graciously and have a heart for other drivers and pedestrians.

Unspoken rules of parking

There are 'unwritten rules' when it comes to parking whether it may be at a HDB, condominium, shopping mall or wherever.

A vehicle waiting to park can wait for a lot to open up within a 'three lot range' from the front and rear of his vehicle. This range varies from person to person but other drivers looking for parking space would usually leave a healthy distance between their car and yours.

But, if you are a gangster driver like this Toyota Wish driver, all you need to do is spot an empty lot, head in and yell "Please move your car!" when confronted.

Here's the video for you to rage at.

Who does this?

A#$holes. Only a@#holes do this.

Hello a#$hole. You're famous now.

The poor dude that wanted to park came out and confronted the Wish driver

Here's a breakdown of their short conversation:

Quote

Victim: You want to be gangster, is it? I already got the video of you snatching the lot.

Gangster😎: PLEASE MOVE YOUR CAR. (flicking him off with a wave of his hands)

Victim: You want to be gangster is okay. You want to "scare" me right? Never mind, I will make you famous.

Gangster😎: Please move, people. . . .

Morale of the story

Your time may be precious, but that doesn't mean that other people's time isn't.

We should respect one another no matter what we do in life.

If this happened to Uncle Koba, I might have just parked in front of him and ask him to wait for me to leave then he can leave. 😬 #angry

Parking must have etiquette lah, first come first serve but got tactic also. Don't move too far from lot, have to see situation and prevent this kind of person from snatching lot under your nose.

I always wind down window and ask if the car before me is waiting for the empty lot, if he says go ahead I will then thank him and park else wait lor.

best is to hazard light and block the lot, wait for the wish to pass then reverse in lor. Also just do a diagonal reverse in lah.
Whether u perpendicular or diagonal reverse in, oncoming car also cannot go past what.

Low experience cam car driver lost parking lot and decided to confront the other driver to complain and take video. Then post on internet to try to get people to agree.

If cam car had enough experience he would have found a way to block the lot and slowly park in.

I think carcam driver was a tad too rough too. I understand that he was upset that the person cut into his lot but he was quite a distance away and it could well have been a misunderstanding e.g. the driver who cut him didn't see him then and quicky swooped in to prevent anyone from taking the lot.

Carcam driver seems keen on agitating the driver by calling him names like gangster when he himself was shouting like one.. life's ironies.

Life's ironies or just good old Sinkie hypocrisies.

it is clearly the wish driver is an opportunist. He knows the cam car is getting ready to park and he quick did a front parking. We all normally do reverse parking correct? In a way, he spoiled the market that whoever act fast who gets the lot, we don't respect the first come first serve rules anymore. Do we all want all of our fellow drivers to behave like that?

In conclusion, the wish driver is a thief and steal others lot. SHOULD BE DAMNED!

Subjective.... the cam car was kinda far to do reverse parking , there was a oncoming white car coming “might be looking for a lot too” Toyota wish driver although not handsome so kinda hard looking at his face but might not want to lose this parking lot to the on coming white car, when cam car driver might be giving out an indecisive signal action .....

Yeah, encountered this situation many times.

If I see a packed carpark, I'll just park somewhere further and take a nice stroll with my wife

Haha, that's true.

There are so many instances when we walk pass the packed carpark, the cars waiting there are in their exact same spots.

No point waiting so long, might as well make use of the time to paktor.

I think he did not imagine the wish will head in .. but you are right he could have slow down or cut out to the oppersite lane to show attempt

The cam car is inexperienced and too far away from the lot. So the Wish driver can have some benefit of doubt. Having said that I have had a lot snatched away from me when I was already diagonally reversing in so I can sympathize with the cam driver.

  • Carpark Review: Junction 8

Built in the 1980s, Bishan (or Bishan New Town) may not be one of the earliest housing estates in Singapore, but it was the first whose HDB architecture saw a departure from the more brutalist designs of the past and featured more variation in height and design.  Residents are primarily served by Junction 8, which opened in 1993. Now more than 30 years old, it remains the sole mall in the Bishan East area. Driving there? Here’s our quick review of the carpark.  Manoeuvrability: T
