Toyota Estima gets sneak attacked by a ninja

Who says ninjas don't exist?

This black Toyota Estima was the victim of a ruthless attack by a sneaky ninja who pounced on him while he was just trying to make a U-turn (rather poorly).

BAM! you can see the ninja (van) went straight for the kill while the Estima stopped just inches away from the kerb.

After the swift attack, the ninja (van) makes his (not so) quick getaway... not knowing that everything was recorded by a dash cam! This isn't feudal Japan, where are you going to run to?

In all seriousness though, it is important to look where you are going when driving, especially so when making a U-turn.

There's always a chance that the car in front hasn't completed the turn in one swift motion, they might even have to reverse, and you wouldn't want to be right behind them when they do!

At least now we know why Ninjavan's deliveries are prompt, not even an accident can stop them! 🤣

Cyclist invents his own 'Grab Hitch' with a SBS bus and lorry

What went down Just yesterday at 1:05 pm, a video was uploaded onto YouTube featuring a cyclist trying his best to keep up with traffic along the roads of Woodlands Avenue 7.  Now, I’ve seen cyclists do some dangerous stuff before, but this is my first time seeing something of this nature. Honestly, I’m surprised that he even has the muscle strength to cling onto his ‘rides’ while cycling at a high speed. Based on the comments, we can only assume that the cyclist was performing motor pacing – a form of training for competitive cyclists where they draft behind a pace-controlled vehicle.  While it is legal for cyclists to cycle on the road (given that they follow the proper safety regulations and wear a helmet), motor pacing is often used as an advanced technique for highly skilled cyclists. This cyclist, on the other hand, did not seem to be a competitive cyclist and was not properly equipped with the right gear for such training. Netizens’ reactions While this cyclist got off perfectly unharmed from his ‘grab & hitch’, what he did was incredibly dangerous and could result in a potentially fatal accident. Netizens also shared the same sentiment, with some complimenting the humorous background music. What do you guys think? Was this dangerous stunt part of motor pacing or was the cyclist just really overwhelmed on the road?

Lexus GS300 doing his rendition of sway dancing while nearly kissing the wall, all with an expired road tax

You know, usually when I think of swaying side-to-side, I think of something like this.  Side-to-side motion, everyone looking good and enjoying themselves. However, when it comes to our local roads, swaying side-to-side usually means this.... Yup. Someone new is getting their 15 minutes of fame today. First of all, a Lexus GS300? I'm giving you props for that as I personally quite like that car. After all, a creamy 3.0-litre V6 from Toyota producing 245bhp and 310Nm of torque in something that comfortable is nothing to sneeze at. What I unfortunately cannot commend you on is your driving, because not only is this Lexus swaying back and forth plus in and out of their lane, they damn near kissed the wall as well.  Looks like the Lexus just barely missed the wall too, the lucky bugger. My fellow motorist, if you are feeling rich and dare to risk damage to your car like that, would you mind donating it to me instead. There are a lot of things I would do with that money, starting with not driving like you so I wouldn't have to risk expensive bodywork to my car. Seriously, if you're tired or unable to drive for whatever reason, DON'T DRIVE. Do you know that you can be just as complicit for tired driving just as you are for drunk driving? When you are tired, your reactions are slow and dulled, and you are unaware of what's going on around you, thus making yourself a danger not only to yourself, but also to other road users. Research has shown that driving while tired is almost as good as driving under the influence of alcohol. Either way, it's not going to end well for you because you aren't in full control of your vehicle, making you even more susceptible to other users on the road.  But, there is still one more thing with this Lexus. How is it possible to not realise that your road tax has been expired for over 3 months? Either you have ignored all the notifications sent you with regards to this issue, or you are just plain ignorant and refuse to pay your dues. Whatever it is, Lexus driver, due to your appearance online, people are reminding you that your road tax has expired a really long time ago, and this should be enough prompting for you to get your road tax renewed.  Being a considerate driver is more than just signalling, not road hogging, and having good road manners. It also entails not putting the other road users around you in danger because you are unable to drive properly, thus causing more danger not only to yourself but everyone around you on the road. It's already stressful enough to drive in Singapore. Don't give yourself a reason to end up on this blog even though we do enjoy writing about your stupidity!

Hitch driver apparently needs an aeroplane to be on time

According to Stomp, this guy booked a GrabHitch ride in Choa Chu Kang on Friday afternoon. He scheduled the ride for 3.15pm, but the driver sent a message to ask if it will be ok for him to arrive at 3.25pm. The passenger then asked if the driver could reach by 3.15pm instead but received a snide reply: "I drive car not aeroplane" The driver eventually cancelled the ride. It seems like the passenger is a little demanding. There are many variables that affect travel time on the road - there could have been traffic, the driver might also have been some distance away and hence required more time to reach. In such a situation, the best solution is to just wait - if you cancel this ride and book another, chances are he won't reach by 3.15 also mah.   Understandably, GrabHitch is a carpooling service, where drivers who are going the same way, offers to pick up passengers for a small sum. As such, it is kind of an unwritten rule that one shouldn't expect to receive five-star chauffeur service.   I think the most important takeaway from this incident is that communication is key.  The driver could have replied nicely, and the passenger should have been more understanding and the whole thing wouldn't have been an issue. And hor, I also don't have an aeroplane, but I still can reach work (quite) on time leh.

P-Plate VW Passat driver flexes lousy driving skills for the world to see

TL;DR – VW Passat P-plate driver gets mad when he gets honked at for not stopping at the stop sign. Goes all aggro on cam car in front (with high beam and unnecessary lane cutting).   Question: What’s worse than a P-Plater who doesn’t know how to stop at a stop sign? Answer: An angry P-plater who doesn’t know how to stop at the stop sign.   What did you learn at driving school? I don’t know about you, but when I was learning how to drive, I’m pretty sure failing to stop at a stop sign was an immediate failure. Then we have this Passat driver, fresh out of driving school with his p-plates, not applying what he learnt less than 12 months ago. Here’s the video Wow, the audacity of this one Cam car gives a warning honk to the P-plater to avoid a collision. But that doesn’t sit well with the P-Plater. He proceeds to tailgate and highbeam the cam car in an aggressive manner.   If you thought that was all, towards the end of the video, P-plater swerves out of the lane, speeds up and cuts into cam car’s path like a maniac. Am confused What confuses me the most is that P-plater swerves back to the right lane after all that recklessness. Making him look like not just a prick, but a real noob-#$%^ driver. Loving the comments Lots of wise words from wise people. I really hope the TP sees this video and nabs this guy.
