You’ve probably heard and read about this a dozen times, but I’ll reiterate, tyres are the most important part on any wheeled vehicle. Think about it, they are the only point of contact between your car and the road. The tyres are the ones doing the heavy lifting to keep you safe and sound while driving down the roads, and that’s why you would want the best when it comes to them.

If you are driving a Lexus, Toyota or Suzuki, here’s some great news. You won’t have much to worry about the tyres on your cars, Borneo Motors (BMS) and Champion Motors (CMS) now offer the most comprehensive tyre protection programme in the industry - Total Tyre Shield.

Strict quality control that you can trust

There are no better people than the skilled technicians at your Authorised Distributor (AD) to entrust the important job of maintaining your car. Needless to say, when it comes to something as important as tyres, you’ll do well with the same trusted bunch.

Trained and certified by the respective manufacturers, experts at your AD would have the intrinsic knowledge on every nook and cranny, and knows just how to keep your car running perfectly and safely.

When you entrust your car to the AD you can be sure that only the adequate size and type of tyre for your car will be recommended, ensuring a safe and fuss-free driving experience.

With the strict quality control in place as well as the knowledge on proper storage of tyres, you wouldn’t have to worry about the condition of the tyres that you are getting – with BMS and CMS, quality is assured.

Exceptional value

It’s not just quality that you’ll get, Borneo Motors and Champion Motors are determined to offer the best value to its customers as well. There’s really no need to shop around for tyres when you can get such a great deal with the AD.

If you have a preferred brand, you’ll be glad to know that there are several brands of tyres for you to choose from. BMS and CMS works directly with the distributors of the tyre brands, not only does this open up a range of tyres to best fit your needs, it also enables them to minimise your tyre costs.

And the cost savings is clear to see - tyres for Toyota and Suzuki cars begin at just $96 per piece. Meanwhile, drivers of Lexus cars can get their new tyres from as low as $160.

The best part of getting your new tyres from BMS or CMS, is the Total Tyre Shield programme that you’ll automatically get to enjoy when you purchase a fresh set of tyre from them.

Total Tyre Shield allows you to drive with peace of mind

What is Total Tyre Shield? Well, think of it as an insurance plan for your tyres. Total Tyre Shield offers unlimited coverage on three important services to ensure the longevity of a set of tyres - puncture repair, rotation and wheel balancing, when you purchase a fresh set of tyres.

Encountering punctures on your tyres can be a frustrating experience. If you were to leave it be, and drive on low tyre pressure unknowingly, you will risk damaging your tyres and may even endanger your own life should the tyre fail catastrophically. That is why you should get punctures repaired as soon as possible.

While tyres are expected to last between 40,000km and 50,000km, or an average lifetime of three years in normal circumstances, this is only achievable with routine tyre rotation, each time you service your car, to ensure even tyre wear.

Do not slight the importance of wheel balancing. An unbalanced wheel can result in many problems, it can result in steering vibration, affecting the handling of your car, it can also cause uneven tyre wear, once again shortening the lifespan of your tyres.

When you purchase a fresh set of tyres for your Lexus, Toyota or Suzuki from Borneo Motors or Champion Motors, you won’t have to worry about paying for the maintenance of your car’s tyres - everything you need to stay safe on the road is included with your tyre purchase.

Tyres are important, don’t wait any longer. Contact BMS or CMS today to make an appointment for a set of fresh tyres!

Yes. They charge the utility expenses, coffee, tea and milo and lounge furniture depreciation into the costs.

Since when are AD mechanics better than tire shops, where all they do are tires all day long.
but then some tire shops also FAIL  big time. Simple mounting of the red dot inline with the valve stem also cannot do.

I cannot be too sure if you will be paying more from the AD. Sometimes it depends on supply and demand. One thing good about AD is that they will have OE tyres if customers would still prefer OE tyres. 🙂

Sure there is a premium to pay compared to a neighbourhood tyre shop. But with a comprehensive tyre shield programme, I am sure you will drive out worry-free.

When I just got my car(current car), I kenna 2 tyre puncture within the same year! And I am very particular about tyre patching and I only do mushroom patch which is more work and cost more.

Not until you go down and check it for yourself! 🤗

The pricing they gotten is set by the local tyre distributors, it cannot be far off from other workshops. If not how to be competitive! 😆

AD will have a better workshop system, there is always a store supervisor or service advisor to ensure the mechanic follow the manufacturer recommended steps. Plus. if your tyres fail you when you drive off, now with Total Tyre Shield protection, just drive back and enjoy a cuppa of coffee while they fix your problems away! 🙂

Nissan GTR smokes a Mercedes-Benz A45S (quite literally)

A video made its way onto social media, featuring a Nissan GTR and a Mercedes-Benz A45S AMG 4MATIC Plus drag racing against each other. It was unclear where this incident took place.  Here's the video for your viewing pleasure: For those that do not know, this variation of the A45S is the latest model with the highest specifications currently offered on the market.  Japanese Vs German Engineering Despite the late reaction from the A45S, you can see that this 2.0-litre turbocharged hatchback quickly caught onto the 3.8-litre Godzilla within seconds. What fascinated me was the brilliance of Japanese engineering that allowed the >10 years old GTR, to go head-to-head against a modern-day sports car.  Unfortunately, it was impossible to tell who won that drag race from the video.  Netizens' comments Sad, but so true😥 Haiz...I was disappointed when I realised there wasn't any audio.  Who do you think would have won if the A45S driver had a good reaction time?   --- Thinking of selling your car? sgCarMart Quotz guarantees the highest selling price for your car. Fatal accident with a young cyclist and Malaysian trailer along Marina East Drive

On Monday (May 31) at around 4:25 p.m., a 14-year-old male cyclist met with a fatal accident with a Malaysian-registered trailer along Marina East Drive. According to the CNA article, the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. He had been riding a fixie bike, also known as a fixed-gear bike or a brakeless bicycle, which meant that the bicycle did not have any brakes. The Ministry of Transport announced the ban of such bicycles on public paths and roads in January this year.  The 37-year-old trailer driver has been arrested for careless driving causing death.  The photographs of the accident site posted onto SG Road Vigilante's Facebook shows the mangled bicycle torn into pieces. A screenshot of the trailer driver's outstanding traffic police fines was also posted on Facebook, showing that he had an unpaid amount of $600 from 2019. We offer our deepest condolences to the cyclist's family and hope that both drivers and cyclists will take more caution while on the road.

Serious CTE accident: Car engulfed in fire and lorry flipped, causing total standstill

Netizens have forwarded video footage of a serious accident near the CTE (towards City) Orchard Road Exit on Friday night (23 Jul 2021 at approximately 9.45pm): A car is seen fully engulfed in fire on CTE (towards City) near Orchard Rd Exit (location on Google Maps). A lorry and a motorcycle rider is also involved - with the lorry flipped on its sides near the burning flames and the motorcycle rider lying on the ground nearby.   CTE on a standstill The whole expressway appears to have jammed up, with all lanes halted with vehicles stopped about 50m away from the site of the accident. There's also loud sirens ringing in the background as emergency personnel are trying to get through the jam to provide emergency assistance. This is a terrible accident and the motorists involved seem to be in a very bad condition. We hope and pray that they will make it through. We will share more details of the accident as we receive further news. Update: This story has also been reported by The Straits Times More photos of the site :
